The more you appease the American regime, the more they push and push to see how far they can take it. This is what they are doing with Russia and China. A strong and aggressive response and these cowards back down. Tiger Yang proved it with that meeting with Blinken. It is time to stand up to these bullies.

Bro Marcos will have a state visit to China on Jan 3 2023 and I bet you there will be an incident plan by the US to stymied the visit.;)

Yeah brother, hear what you are saying.

However, I don't really see it happening.

The timing of the trip is telling.

Remember when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan? They choose Christmas Day, because no one would be paying attention. January 1, 2023 is a Sunday, which means January 2 is a holiday. So people too drunk and hungover in America to notice anything happening on the 3rd, which is a work day.

Suppose someone noticed, and wanted to do something to derail the trip.

What can they do? Bring Macros back? But he's right here?!

They cannot bring back the previous guy, who was great, as he hated their guts.

Maybe Aquino is available. Maybe Guaido is available.

Seems to me that the provocations with the spy planes, was just a test for the region. The Americans trying to figure out who is still interested in their stupid games in ASEAN.

Meanwhile, China will try to slam the door shut on their American faces with this President Marcos trip.

It would be like the recent Middle East summit for Xi, just this is part 2.

Haha!

:p

Not to mention that Russia and China are already doing active drills there already plus Nth Korea is absolutely f@piping for a fight, are these people brain dead because if they do enough six feet under, the world will become just a little bit safer
North Korea is imho also more suspicious than you might think.

On paper they're fully in with China, but if Kim is smart, he also has an agenda of starting a war.

America's stated intent of invading China under the guise of helping separatists is the perfect opportunity for NK to unify the peninsula.

If you think about it, NK has developed very little except militarily, where they've developed massively.

Should China deter an US invasion through peaceful means, the mistakes of the Kim family to focus on military to the exclusion of everything else will never be vindicated.

But if in a moment of insanity, America attacks, South Korea joins them and Beijing authorizes a counter invasion of SK, then Korea will be unified and Kim Jong Un will not just become a revered name in North Korea, but he will become a historic figure whose gamble of militarization paid off in the form of unifying Korea. Using the industries in the South and the new Post war order, DPRK can make a complete fresh start, unmarred by previous records.

NK has good reasons to work under the table to bring China closer to war. As for how much they can actually influence China or the rest of Asia, that's impossible to say.

Except that really isn't fully the case though.

They have actually developed quite a lot economically and it isn't just military strides they made. It's just very hard to see and gauge from the outside.

Moreover, military improvements are also just more visible, whether it's the parades or missile firings, as compared to economy, living standards etc.

A unified Korea is not in the national interests of China

AFAIK they built more high rise houses and opened up another line of the Metro to the public in Pyonyang since he came to power. They also put the glass windows on their high rise hotel. But yeah there are a lot of problems.
More than just that has happened though, although again, much less visible and known about compared to their military advances.

Dimitry Medvedev, Putin's number two and likely his successor has made some interesting predictions for 2023.

It's also hilarious that while Putin is very diplomatic and reserved, Medvedev straight out calls entire countries pigs...
Imagining Putin getting axed and Medvedev getting full desk always make me wonder why western media and politician are always calling for it... that guy is clearly a mad zealot, lol !
