Xi Yazhou is implying (again) that this is exactly what happened:
"Suppose your exoskeleton functions as passive exoskeleton most of the time, then when the need arises you power it up to greatly boost your strength and endurance with the battery capable of supporting about one hour of running time."
"Then suppose an unusual circumstance - an area where both sides are prohibited from using firearms. During the course of a patrol we run into the enemy which outnumber us. We then power up the exoskeleton and coupled with NVG we first leg it quick out of the sticky situation. The exoskeleton would allow our troops to still have plenty in the tank while the enemy's formation rapidly become in disarray in pursue in this cold high altitude environment. Then when the opportunity presents itself our troops turn around and flatten a few of the pursuer and then keep running. Within 1 hour of the exoskeleton running time that's plenty to take out a few dozen guys. This is particularly so if the exoskeleton also has an upper body component which would allow our troops to wield steel poles and break bones with each swing."
