Republicans are against critical race theory not because they're lies but because it makes Americans feel guilty for crimes they actually committed so they're reluctant to assert their self-anointed authority on others. They're so good hearted history should hurt they're credibility today. That's if you actually believe they've changed which is a joke in itself especially coming from Republicans that are working to deny minorities in the US the right to vote. Make America Great Again is all about going back to the good ole days where they openly violated people's rights and all that mattered were what white people wanted.
They want to hide their history from the world so that it only shows the so-called good things the West has done but they expect China to be transparent on literally everything which they think it's a crime if China doesn't. You have the head of NASA, Bill Nelson, charging China isn't transparent with the US when they have the Wolf Amendment that prevents the US from any exchange with China. They want to lie about their history so it looks like they have no faults just like they want to vilify China for not sharing any info they learn from space when it's their law that prevents it.
