Middleast is very sophisticated than most people assume about them. Russia can create its own UN. that Veto at UN is overrated as there some others in that council that cannot resist pressure. Pakistan cannot buy energy from Iran while Russia built nuclear plant for Iran and with no limit passenger aviation flights. it takes decades to built credibility and culture strength.

Officials in the United States look upon Africans as people “in need of help” or people who “need to be told what to do”, and this is destroying relations between Africa and Washington, according to the former African Union representative to the US, Arikana Chihombori-Quao.

“The US needs to call a timeout and treat Africans with respect,” Chihombori told host Steve Clemons, adding that the US-Africa Leaders Summit hosted by the White House this week “will fail unless Americans see Africans as equals".

Chihombori-Quao argues that pan-African unity is the only path for the continent to be less dependent on outside powers.

Also, don't hope they would expect anything less from China. Treating them as if we were the colonial masters would lead to them telling us to get up from the basement.

Maitreya Baikal always starts shitting on China whenever some China-India border thing comes up, this isn't new. You can check out his 2020 and 2021 tweets about this. He is funny and provocative at times, but not sure if suitable for CGTN opinions after too many anti-China tweets when it involves India's interest.

The effect of $350 million is not necessarily worse than that of $350 billion, and it may play the same role.
For example, use this money to buy some officials, armed forces, political opposition or NGOs.
