While I think China's Zero covid policy is great in paper. I don't think its practical unless there's a vaccine that prevents infection. Covid is asymptomatic the first few days and with China's population or even a single infected tourist can cause an outbreak easily. Its going to be impossible at this rate.

I don't see how doing that is going to help with anything. But if they want, they should rename those roads as "爱国路" (i.e. Love Country Road).

The zero-covid policy is being tested. In Beijing, infected numbers are growing slowly from tens per day(most found during quarantine) to hundreds(out of quarantine, spreading in the community). So do Chongqing and some other cities. Things are getting worse. People I know start talking about a possible pandemic in china within a month.
