Multiple fatalities in Walmart mass shooting

Police have confirmed “multiple” fatalities (10) and injuries after a gunman opened fire inside a Walmart store in eastern Virginia on Tuesday night, though the exact number of victims is not clear. The suspect is believed to be dead.

A Chesapeake police spokesperson tells us at this point he believes no more than 10 people have died. It’s unclear if the shooter was an employee. The shooter is now deceased. Officers are walking through the Walmart super center checking for victims

Roughly translated:
On the 17th (of November), the family members of the first batch of 300 key employees of TSMC boarded an American airliner and flew
directly to the supporting residential area of the chip factory in Phoenix, Arizona.

Two weeks later, at the beginning of December, another large amount of precision equipment will be shipped over. Currently, Taiwan Island engineers are dismantling the equipment for processing.

The U.S. will then arrange a large number of passenger planes to bring the remaining thousands of chip backbones to Phoenix. These elite Chinese engineers will go far away and will make a wedding dress for another country's allegiance!

Related commentary video on the moving of TSMC engineers and their families to the US (only in Mandarin Chinese):

Found two worthy comments underneath the commentary, roughly translated:
1.
In fact, TSMC has been resisting US pressure for a long time, but the DPP government has done nothing to help with the situation.

Initially, TSMC only planned to set up a 5nm fab in the US but had no plans for 3nm. The US even had to subsidize 50% of the extra manufacturing costs. Then, the plan was for the production of 3nm to start after 2024. But unexpectedly, after the APEC meeting, 3nm will be put into production in a short time! How is that even possible to begin with?

In fact, the U.S. wafer program is has long been bankrupt! Can any industry that receive subsidization for 50% of its manufacturing cost even survivable in the first place?
2.
There are only TWO values that Taiwan could offer for the previous few decades - First Island Chain as an unsinkable aircraft carrier, and TSMC.

Realistically speaking, however, the First Island Chain has been rendered practically worthless. The First Island Chain was a military concept which stemmed during the Cold War. But with the supersonic (and hypersonic) missiles, drones and the Beidou system, the island of Taiwan cannot be defended at all. American aircraft carriers would also be useless. Taiwan's military only has the value of a sanctioned drug trigger, that is, for Taiwan to sacrifice itself by declaring Taiwan's independence in order to provoke mainland China into taking military actions against Taiwan, thus turning Taiwan into a second Ukraine.

Initially, the United States were unable to convince its Western allies to decouple from China. But once China is at war, those Western allies would have no choice but to agree to decouple from China.

Taiwan's present strategic value is that of a sanctioned drug trigger. The United States will not send troops, however, but instead to just let Taiwan plunge into scorched earth and sea of flames of war. If TSMC relocates its core to the United States, then Taiwan would become practically worthless. In the views of the West, the most they will offer is verbal solidarity, let alone feeling sorry for Taiwan.

If the Taiwanese authority is willing to become a sacrificial pawn in the US-China clash and turn themselves into a pile of destruction and suffering, the reponsibility ultimately fells onto those who elected the party and politicians into Taipei in the first place, i.e. the voters of Taiwan.

Good luck, Wanwanese.

Shouldn’t hope for more shootings man, think of the mess that they have to clean up. It would be a nightmare having clear up a 150-200kg sack that happens to have a ton of fat and meat just wanting for the right bullet to come their way. Still I am curious, I have yet to run into a single Chinese person of that size, is this genetic or something

If anyone needs to learn from the Federalist Papers it is probably MBS. I think said papers are pretty explicit about how dismembering people is wrong.
So is burning hospital patients alive. And bombing civilian shelters and dams.

If US can't even nab those that do atrocities to thousands, what hope is there they can nab someone who did atrocities to 1?

Lets face it, there is no American "justice system" in the terms of a system that punishes injustice. It only has a "strongarm system" based on arbitrary whims of the leadership, ranging from the objective of gathering political prisoners as bargain chips against rest of the world, or gathering prison labor to boost government income.

The real crime of MBS, as far as America is concerned, is the crime of humiliating the government with his oil production cuts.

It's a mix of socioeconomic factors. Cheap, processed junk that is utterly overloaded with sugar is both very cheap and convenient, which coupled with long working and commute hours makes it the more attractive option for the overworked compared to cooking with their own fresh ingredients. Compounding on this are the portion sizes served in the USA; compare and contrast to those of other developed nations and you will notice just how much larger American servings are.

Knew a guy who imports metal pipes and railings. Apparently American cadavers are now so heavy that crematoriums are upgrading their trolly rail systems to new designs that are made by a company that does cattle slaughterhouse rails. Other upgrades are electric trolly lifts, because the old hand cranks were simply too tiresome and redoing tight corners in hallways and elevators to accommodate forklifts.
