Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez unveiled a monument to Fidel Castro in Moscow in a ceremony on Tuesday. The Cuban president arrived in Moscow on November 19.

Work on the bronze-made three-meter-monument lasted for six months and took place in the Russian capital. Castro is depicted seated on a rock with a stylized map of Cuba inscribed on it.

The initiative to erect a monument to Fidel Castro came from the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry.

It looks like the Germans have finally said it out loud. The war in Ukraine and covid are contributing factors, but the main reason why the EU/west won't have economic growth any time soon is because Asia isn't. By Asia they actually mean China.

Ehhh… that’s not accurate. It’s actually a lot worst then you think.

Scholz isn’t saying that the lack of economic growth in Europe because of the lack of growth in Asia.

He is saying the lack of European growth is because…… Asian people are getting too rich.

He attributed it to growth in Asia instead, warning that there likely will not be a return to the good old days in the foreseeable future.
Scholz went on to explain that, for decades, countries such as Vietnam and Indonesia have mainly been viewed as a source of cheap goods for the European, American and, increasingly, the Chinese markets. But in the meantime the same Asian nations experienced an explosive increase in the number of people belonging to the middle class. Those individuals’ purchasing power rose accordingly. This, the German chancellor postulated, is what has led to growing inflation elsewhere.

AKA Europeans cannot compare with the wallets of Asian people and thus Asian people are to blame for Europe economic woes.

Now, we will see pressure on China from the west to open up it's economy and reverse it's zero COVID policies.

Considering what Scholz said. The pressure is actually on China to not open up their economy. If China economy fully opens then demand for energy will skyrocket and thus prices will as well and long term LNG contracts are sold out until 2026.

If anyone needs to learn from the Federalist Papers it is probably MBS. I think said papers are pretty explicit about how dismembering people is wrong.
They are giving it as spin as if IF MBS is not a head of government, he will be under jurisdiction of the United States District Court. US has no jurisdictional power outside their border.

"Citing its constitutional authority as well as customary international law, the State Department said, “Prime Minister bin Salman as a sitting head of government is immune while in office from the jurisdiction of the United States District Court in this suit.”"

Imagine you hold in your hand the power to agree to petro-yuan in a few days and bury petrodollars.

Then imagine again that in order to get on your good side the US goes publicly to the world "we know you are guilty, but we'll let you off the hook because we are benevolent"

What would you do?
