Sadly, but more tragically, the morbid obsession with the United States still exists in China.

I saw many people on the Internet openly express their envy of those who emigrated to the United States, and mocked that China is a country that people cannot stay in, and all elites want to escape.

Even though we all know how bad America's ability to cope with covid-19 is, those people show amazing self-confidence in their immunity: "How many rich Americans have COVID-19?"
”How many of those who say that the United States is bad are willing to return home? “
"Smart people will choose to leave here"
“Working in the United States is much better than working 12 hours a day in a factory. At least they have unions and labor laws”

Although strict disease prevention measures have protected many people, this absurd statement has spread rapidly. These people are really calling their country a "concentration camp".
It's disgusting and at the same time makes me feel afraid of the "American Dream", this dream can make anyone abandon all principles and go to the United States. Even if these people know nothing about their destiny.

Not funny jokes: A man with a certain social status decided to go to Mexico first and then smuggled into the United States from the border in order to go to the United States, but he was robbed many times and had to stay in Mexico. He was not a poor man, but he chose to use up all his property to go to the "free world" in his mind

Maybe for these people, I should follow the popular saying on the Internet: Give up the idea of helping them, because they have chosen their own destiny, and we should respect their choice.
Some of these guys are CCP members and hold various roles in academia or government. On camera they praise the Party, but tell a different story in private about China’s political environment. Those that can have sent their kids overseas, while their own passports are confiscated by the government.

In 1999 FLG activated about ten thousand members to "visit" Zhongnanhai. The clampdown came after.

FLG is basically a foreign-funded political organization pretending to be a religious cult.
They were recently being clamped down in the US for being pro-Trump.

Moral of the story - export troublemakers to the countries wanting to start trouble. Worst case they lead a quiet life as meat packers, factory workers, etc. Best case they start shit like this:

Since the beginning of the pandemic, The Epoch Times has had a growing – and less discussed – impact in Europe. Now publishing in 33 countries and 21 languages, it has become a key media source for COVID-sceptic and anti-vaccine movements in France, Italy and Spain. The organisation has recently advertised for reporters in the UK.

Germany, however, is the most striking example in Europe. Widely shared articles from the German edition of The Epoch Times echo the ‘Great Reset’ conspiracy theory (which says that the pandemic is a planned project of a shadowy global elite) and cast doubt on the safety or effectiveness of COVID tests and vaccines.

What makes them think that they can become rich Americans if they emigrate? If you don't know decent English and have competitive skillset the chance of you uplifting yourself is next to zero. I know a lot of people from China with PHDs who are struggling because they entered the wrong (chemistry) field and had to work their butts off to get a different degree (Comp-Sci mostly) in their 30s and 40s. These jokers think that they can illegally waltz in and Uncle Sam will shower them with free money?

According to a recent Time article, "41 percent of Biden voters and 52 percent of Trump voters polled favor red or blue states seceding from the Union to form their own separate country, with 30 percent of Republicans and 11 percent of Democrats ready to resort to violence to save the country." That is to say, approximately 20 million Americans are ready to fight in a country with 400-plus million guns. In early October, the New York Times quoted a date entry specialist as saying he worries something will happen around the November elections that will be "akin to Jan 6, but much more violent," where armed protest groups from both sides of the political spectrum come to blows.

Sorry to be the bad guy, but war in America, Europe (economic) and Russia will make China look like paradise

Honestly sounds like China needs a second round of Cultural Revolution - but don't do it like Mao, please.
