Comrade Xi can we please park our industrial company in China for now so we can survive the chaos our US neighbor brings to our ooh so perfect European garden.
Giving Scholz a full scaled official reception is a good answer to Biden who at best will get an in-person meeting with Xi on the side-line of G20 summit. I think Macron should get a state visit in Beijing around G20 time too. Diplomatic formality is of huge value in top leader meetings, more important than the details they are going to talk about.
TBH, they are one of the few groups of people that roaches would probably be more prejudiced against than mainlanders

The US should be the last country China talks to since remember how China was the last country Biden talked to since becoming President. China should send a lower level official to talk to Biden at the G20 harkening back to when China did that to Obama after he tried to setup China to blame for the failure of the Copenhagen climate summit during his first year in office to cover-up how domestic US politics was going to prevent any international agreement from happening. Since Biden was a part of the Obama Administration and it was seen as a great diss by China, the message should be loud and clear. Xi should have meetings with other heads of state while at the G20 but not with Biden and watch how Biden will go searching for Xi to interrupt whatever he is doing. Obama did something like that after the low-level official was sent to talk to him.
In the same vein when the Western alliance starts to crumble, you'll see other countries setting up their own deals with China. You see that where some are looking to create industries to avoid US ITAR laws. The US's promise that China would surrender immediately and thus they can cut up China like a pie like after the Opium Wars isn't happening and they're going to be hurt by it more than you see their sanctions against Russia are doing to them. All the countries that want to suck on the US's teat are too many for so little sour tasting milk from only two nipples where Great Britain permanently has one to itself... They're going to be looking to greener pastures or else their garden is going look like a desert..
