Isn't this more about long-running Balochistan insurgency in Iran and its neighbour Pakistan, than anything to do with in the rest of Iran? Though I can see that violence in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan may well have been triggered to coincide with disturbances in the rest of the country.
If we recall ,earlier this year, a Baloch female suicide bomber killed three Chinese nationals who had been teaching in a Confucius Institute language learning centre in Pakistan.
Maybe so. However, personally I don't think it's a coincidence that a IRGC commander is killed while the unrest is happening and Iran strikes Kurdish groups in northern Iraq with ballistic missiles. All this happening after Iran's public military support of Russia and the big SCO meeting.

Besides the fact that China's own Walvax mRNA vaccine has been approved for emergency use in Indonesia, there is one more reason that China should not bother with the Moderna vaccine anymore: a new study indicates that their effectiveness turns negative after 150 days.
I guess CGTN is more skillful in their reporting, thus more persuasive and more "threatening" than their CCTV counterparts.
