Opec+ plans substantial oil production cut to prop up prices

Group expected to discuss reduction of more than 1mn barrels a day at meeting on Wednesday
The Opec+ oil alliance is planning a substantial cut in production to prop up falling prices, according to people close to the discussions, as the group prepares to meet in person for the first time since March 2020.
The oil group, which is led by Saudi Arabia and Russia, is expected to discuss a production cut that could total more than 1mn barrels a day at the meeting on Wednesday. This is by far the largest since early in the pandemic and equivalent to more than 1 per cent of global supplies.

Not sure if this applies to rail transport also. It does say "transport goods through #Russia BY ROAD"
Any confirmation available?

2. It would be unwise to underestimate the potential of this escalating to a rail network cutoff by Russia in order to further hammer the EU economy by cutting off essential goods(to further drive up EU inflation) and weaken industries(by reducing Europe’s exports to Chinese markets)

Actually as the power disparity continue to shift in India’s favor, Pakistan may need to tone down its hostility towards India. Pakistan can’t afford to compete with India when it can barely grow its own economy. A “peace” deal between india and Pakistan is possible in the future.
China had had increased power disparity with India for 5 decades. Yet India never signed a peace deal. Why does Pakistan have to do so? Can India afford to compete with china?

I am 99% sure that this decision to reciprocate Russia's counter-sanction was coordinated with China.
I hope that's the case. If they only ban western transport companies and western trucks but not Chinese ones than that's a boon for Chinese transport companies.

I always feel Chinese transport companies should be taking a larger share of world market than they do right now.
