I'm really struggling to understand the purpose of her trip other than to spark more tensions for an armed conflict over Taiwan. Whatever she needed to discuss could have been done over a phone call, but instead now she's started an insane game of chicken between two nuclear powers. God I fucking hate American politicians.

Just last week, Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar told CNN that his company would “never” sell drones to Russia.

“There is a strategic relationship between Turkey and Ukraine, especially in the field of aviation and space,” he said. “Turkey supports Ukraine with armed drone technology. We did not transmit or supply anything to Russia.”

Nothing has been signed. Erdogan is saying one thing, and Haluk Bayraktar is saying another. I think this news is just hot air.

Seems more like internal implosion.

If there is a war, there is a war. That still would not be a solution for the trade war, tech war, the rise of China, or lack of US competitiveness, or internal economic weakness, or US debt levels, or the 1% vs the rest of society, etc.

Unless the United States can wipe China off the map, then maybe that solves one problem. But they could not even wipe Viet-cong or the Taliban off the map.

A war with China, will just be another problem for the Americans, added on top of all their other problems.



That is a problem and a real puzzlement to people like me who live outside of America.

All American strategic thought can be reduced to two things.

1. Cowboys and Indians.

2. Armageddon.

When the Americans say they will bomb the Viet-cong back to the stone age, that is Armageddon.

The Americans have never clued into the fact that it never works out that way, especially for them.

Fox News anchor and Republican nuts today: "China is bluffing".

In January 2022, CNN and Democrat nuts: "Putin is bluffing".

The US thinks that geopolitics and war is a game of poker. But China and Russia don't bluff. They do make mistakes, but they don't gamble with state security and territorial integrity, no matter how weak their position is. These are non-negotiables.

If the US still don't believe, they can recall what China did in the Korean War. Or what Russia is doing now in Ukraine.

I think you might sadly be right. They've lost way too much in the last years. American population might be in denial, but American leadership would be exposed to too much humiliation.

In 10 years, US became 2nd in gdp, reached lower life expectancy than China, tried to fight a trade war and went into recession, tried to cover up the origins of Covid, ate more than 1 million deaths and massive economical damage while China went rather unscathed, and now in the Donbass, the international community, especially the oil rich community, is largely choosing Russia, causing America's puppets to get wrecked economies.

So what else can you say except America number 2 is already a reality? And the US policy makers painfully know this.

Now they want to bet on the only thing that they aren't obviously second in, the military forces.

Yet, China has undoubtedly also planned for this, just like they planned for every other stage of the cold war against America. Let them start a war if they think it will give them their best chance.
