Actually this war made clear that any military engagement between 2 most powerful countries in the world would be a total disaster for whole world in economic way, and i doubt any country is willing to handle that burden. This actually decreased chances of us/cn war in any level.
Current military spending is still smart, having on mind that huge portion of defense budget still goes to R&D, to develop world class weapons and equipment. Producing huge amount of expensive equipment that is not yet on required level of development (imagine production of huge series of early variants of J-15 or Y-20...) would be total waste of recourses.

Waste or not will only be proven if after 10 years no war has happened.

If a war happened, then you wished that you had decided to "waste" more money. You would be banging your head on the wall for not "wasting" more money

If a war didn't happen, then you actually successfully deterred your enemy, or you admit that you wasted some resources. But who cares, at least you survived and became a superpower with a powerful military. Seems like a good trade off to me

I am talking about today. This means increase hypersonics production, expand PLARF, 052, 055, J-20, Y-20, increase munition stock (PLAGF, PLAN, PLAAF), submarines (still waiting for that mass production even with the new facilities done)

Plenty of areas where you can throw your money around and I haven't even started talking about massively increasing R&D which can easily eat all the money you throw at it.

Another prediction correct. This US-instigated coup was always going to bring disaster to Pakistan

A firesale of state assets and natural resources is going to happen in Pakistan. Totally a patriotic government and military.

In a desperate attempt to save the country from default through emergency sale of state’s assets to foreign countries, the federal cabinet has approved an ordinance to bypass all the procedures for the process and also abolished regulatory checks including the applicability of six relevant laws.
President Arif Alvi has not signed the ordinance yet. The government has also barred the courts of the country not to entertain any petition against the sale of assets and shares of the government companies to foreign countries, as per the ordinance.
The federal cabinet had approved the ordinance on Thursday to sell stakes of oil and gas companies and government-owned power plants to the UAE to raise $2 billion to $2.5 billion to avoid the looming default.
Finance Minister Miftah Ismail had said this week that it usually took 471 days to complete one privatisation transaction. He had added that the government had to conclude deals with foreign countries in days to urgently raise funds.
A well-run country

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has placed a condition that Pakistan’s case could not be taken to the board until it arranged $4 billion from friendly countries to bridge the financing gap.
IMF "friendly countries"

It is nice to see the Chinese has agreed on faster production of CV, type 075, type 076, and various fighters like J-10, J-16 and J-20 to about 150 per year.

I honestly think the only area that China should throw their money around, is NUKES conventional weaponry won't deter the us, nukes will
the us still talk about China like she is iraq, they casually talk about bombing Chinese ports, infrastructures and industries, they never talk like that about russia, and you all know why
China should build'em like sausages
