I know this was meant as a joke, but the idea that China is behind America's fentanyl crisis is more western propaganda.
Like many drugs, fentanyl is synthesised and exported legally in China. It ends up on the black market in America largely because of criminal activity of pharmaceutal firms and prescribers. A few years ago an American pharmaceutical firm got charged with bribing doctors millions to prescribe it to as many people as possible.
There's no need to fund the drug trade in America. Thanks to the way American healthcare is set up it funds itself.
