Simply put, the editor of the photo wants China to give away Peng Shuai for free/free-of-charge/FOC.

I didn't know Peng Shuai has, somehow, became a free-gift item that the storekeeper/staffs would give to you when you just bought some expensive stuff in the department store/supermarket.

The average interest rate on debt payments owed to China in 2021 was 2.7%, compared to 5% on non-Chinese private debt, according to Debt Justice calculations based on World Bank figures.

It's a matter of definitions.

Western loans = humanitarian aid
Chinese loans = debt trap

Corriere Della Sera: Germany blocks EU's 9 billion euros help to Ukraine​

Germany has been blocking the aid for more than a month, according to the Italian newspaper's sources. Berlin approved only the first tranche of 1 billion euros. The newspaper claims that Germany's finance minister Christian Lindner disapproves that Brussels is offering to finance aid to Ukraine at the expense of the common European debt.

Tensions are growing between Kiev and Berlin over Germany's attempts to circumvent anti-Russian sanctions to obtain gas, the Corriere della Sera newspaper writes, citing sources in Brussels and Kiev.

"This may be one of the reasons that prompted Zelensky yesterday to suddenly and rather harshly remove the Ambassador of Ukraine to Berlin, Andrei Melnik."

In addition, "there is another reason for the Ukrainian president's nervousness: the suspicion that the Berlin government is preparing to violate some sanctions against Moscow in order to restore Russian gas supplies through the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

Kiev needs assistance in the amount of $ 5 billion a month, and there is a possibility that in September Ukraine will default on the repayment of external debt in the amount of 900 million euros, the newspaper notes.
