Every single American president would want to meet Xi, just look at how desperate Joe is right now. If Trump comes back, he will 100% claim to make a Phase 2 deal with Xi.
Unfortunately the likelihood of this happening is the same as that Yang guy in the US running for president. Not going to happen. The elites would never let what they see as untermensch take the top job.
Rishi Sunak as PM would be a welcome change since he has been calling for UK to improve ties with China and pushing for a trade deal with China. He's certainly a much better alternative than Liz Truss who is constantly going around talking about arming Taiwan.
That's the reason (+ racism) why he probably won't become PM
What kind of trade deal? Does it included tariff free opioids and other derivatives from China

Like I've said before in this forum... It will always cost the West more to do anything especially when it comes to technology. That's what comes with how they brag that they have a higher per capita income than China. The dummies in the US, which are many, think everything costs as much as they pay for to everyone else in the world. That's why they think they're richer. I was reading a comment to an article about Russia and the commentor said the West should prevent Russia from buying anything in the world. Now how are they going to do that? The West gets a lot of their supplies from China. Russia can get their supplies from China. So how are they going to stop Russia from getting things from trading with China? They want to cancel China and all their problems get worse.
The only way they're going to produce cheaper than China is when the Chinese have a bigger economy in all metrics than the US and the West. I read a lot comments still talking about decoupling from China. Their inflation, worst in over 40 years, is only a small sample of what decoupling from China will do to them. But the dummies in the US don't see that because they think if they change name of slavery to "involuntary relocation", it's no longer slavery so you can understand why they can't connect their inflation problems as a small example of what decoupling from China will do.
They think their actions against China will be worse for China while having little affect on them. Well China is not suffering from the same inflation that all the West and their allies around the world are suffering and their inflation is only happening because of Trump's trade war. And Trump who outsources to China himself for his signature line of products and in the construction of his buildings claims himself to be victim of the Chinese treachery of offering cheaper alternatives that he's forced to take. No that's called being greedy and looking out for his own personal wealth and not looking out for the American worker because nothing else is forcing Trump to outsource where could perfectly choose an American company employing American workers to get those very things. And Americans think they don't have ability to lie and be dishonest when they're full of bullsh*t every step of the way.
