That human reaction shouldn't be used to clubber the Chinese journalist over with. It's a bit hysterical for the super patriots to get angry beyond reason all because she exhibited a moment of humanity. Her perspective and judgment of Abe maybe different from the rest of the grain which is fine it isn't like she was making absurd treacherous statement about Abe, or Japan to a certain extent against her own country.

Yearning for peace between countries is a goal that ought to be pursued with vigor, while it's futile to even think that such a scenario is possible in today's geopolitical context but that doesn't mean we ought to simply resigned ourselves to that supposed fate of War.

While I despise what Japan did to China and the ongoing s...t their politicians have to do against China we must already know what that's the case: U.S.A.

Absent that country in the region doing her thing can we really say that Japan would still be acting in such a manner? If the answer is NO then we ought to be more circumspect regarding Japan's circumstances and dilemma.

The body guards stared for half a second before springing into action. That half a second could have stopped the second bullet. Because probably they didn't expect the bulletproof guard bag would ever come into use in a safe country like Japan.

In the US, if they hear a loud bang, they would assume by default a gunshot LOL. But not in Japan. Probably they thought initially a vehicle exploded or something.
Abe even stopped speaking for a second and turned around to look

The shooter probably thought Oh shit, sure glad I taped on a second barrel

Japan's thinking will be problematic, regardless of what they say outwardly, until they get a solid kick. Only then will they get on board with a new 'master'.

Just gonna say. This is a response to this which got overshadowed by the assassination.
From the latest Guanqi podcast, it seems like there's more behind the latest drills around Taiwan as well as the sudden call between Mark Milley and Li Zuocheng.

It's around ~40-50 minutes? Where they talk about it, and it seems like the US kind of wanted to have their carrier pass through the Taiwan strait, which would be a major slap on China's face (remember statements about the strait not being international waters).
