Go back where you came from, and cry about it!
China’s Korean expats, students lament loss of jobs and opportunities as mass exodus comes into focus
- China was once seen as a land of opportunity for South Koreans, but as their businesses close and livelihoods come under threat, that perception has reversed
- However, not all Koreans can simply upend their entire lives – often built over several decades in China – and their struggle reflects a rising dilemma facing foreigners
This is an SCMP reporter writing yet another article to condemn China's zero-covid policy. This reporter is trying to portray it as doom and gloom for China. While there are serious issues with China's zero-covid policy, it is still for the greater good in the longer term. For example, no Covid deaths counts reaching 1 mil dead.
As for those reports about Korean companies moving to other countries like Vietnam. This thing already started years before Covid came. So blaming it completely on China's zero-covid policy, it's all BS. South Korean companies like Samsung have always wanted to divest manufacturing from China, and yet still wanna make money from China. For any Korean companies doing things as hostile as that, they should no longer be welcomed back to the Chinese market.
As for those reports about China's zero-covid clashing with 'Korean values'. What Korean values? The reporter never cared to elaborate. Korean values that happens to be knockoffs of American values? The freedom to get sick and die? And also the freedom to spread a deadly virus to kill citizens of a country that hosts you? Go to back to Korea then, and never come back. That SCMP reporter can go to hell.
These anti-China Koreans and anti-China Korean corporations always think that China's zero-covid is bad for Korean - Chinese relations. You guys ain't seeing what bad really looks like. Wait till Yoon (which these idiots love so much) hosts US missile sites in SK, or stupidly supports Taiwanese independence. Then these idiots will see what Chinese fury truly looks like.
