Go back where you came from, and cry about it!
China’s Korean expats, students lament loss of jobs and opportunities as mass exodus comes into focus
- China was once seen as a land of opportunity for South Koreans, but as their businesses close and livelihoods come under threat, that perception has reversed
- However, not all Koreans can simply upend their entire lives – often built over several decades in China – and their struggle reflects a rising dilemma facing foreigners
Wait. I thought that South Koreans generally see themselves as superior and better-in-all-aspects to those inferior, impoverished and illiterate Chinese?
Case-&-Point: Their
boastfulness and
arrogance were
put on full display across the comment sections of the Internet when their athletes were caught pants down breaking the rules by China's own 4K high-definition ultra-high-speed cameras during the Beijing Winter Olympics earlier this year.
Bet you didn't expect me watching you, huh?
Apart from the very popular "China stole our food, attire, tradition and culture" BS from the South Koreans, you can either have some of them went as far as proudly claiming that they once had an empire that is larger than the Mongols:
Or that they were once the eastern version of the British Empire as well:
In case anyone wonders, that's how the "
the universe country" (宇宙国) come to be as an
affectionate nickname for South Korea by Chinese netizens. Why? Because sooner or later, they are going to claim that the universe belongs to South Korea, and that the Big Bang actually occured in South Kor--
Damn it.
They are already ahead.
