The US needs slippery slopes and boogeymen to scare the population into compliance. They know it works because women in the US value more looking like they have the best lives of all women in the world. That's why you hear nothing from white feminists when American men see Asian women as sexual possessions. They want to believe it's cultural to Asian women to be only sexual servants therefore of lower status to them to give them an excuse to do nothing. But of course they'll open their mouths interpreting Asian men as sexist for it because it again is about making Westerners feel superior not defending women.
Bingo, This ruling is infact a reflection of current changing geopolitics and diminishment of Western men's global sexual bargaining power with Anglo Saxon men feeling the heat most, I would not be surprised if Inter racial relationship for White women were to be made illegal down the road

He also recently added "Telegram premium" feature where the STT (speech to text) sends data to Google for processing, LOL. So much for the "privacy" marketing bs he pushed with Telegram. And don't forget about his TON crypto scam.
You know what. I heard all about how Telegram was this great secure encrypted this and that way to communicate. Free speech. Etc.
All the usual liberal talking points. Some even said it was anonymous. Uh right. It never is.
Then I installed it. I ran it. It asked for my cell phone number. I closed it. And I uninstalled it.
Never looked at the Telegram application again.

U.S. officials vowed that Russia’s financial system would be battered if it attacked Ukraine, and President Biden boasted in March that sanctions were “crushing the Russian economy” and that “the ruble is reduced to rubble.” But Russian oil revenues have set records as crude prices surge. And after plunging in February, the ruble hit a seven-year high against the dollar this week.
The Russian economy is hurting allright. The thing is these capitalist bean counters only look at money flows and nothing else exists. But Russia has been preparing for this, like, at least since 1998. So nope. They will carry this war until where it needs to be carried in their point of view. Even if they have to eat potatoes for lunch. And the West, what was it that Russia's economy had about same economic impact as Texas or Italy? Right.

It took the whole of the Middle East doing an oil embargo in the 1970s and the economic impact back then was way weaker. This is impacting nearly every single commodity. You know what, anyone who looked at the Russian economy, just a little deeper than the mere surface. We knew this would happen. But the Unified West is just so, so, incredibly dumb, I can't believe how these people got into their positions.

We have Mr. Chernenko aka Biden and his merry band of suicidal lemmings. Just incredible.

They don't understand that GDP is not a tell-all metric. For example, if Italy got sanctioned the same way, probably no one would notice except for people who wear their shitty luxury clothes. Similarly, GDP produced through services and "imputed rent" (inflates US GDP by $1.5 trillion, completely virtual thing) is not equivalent to the GDP produced by manufacturing, mining or agriculture. That's why in reality Chinese GDP is way more "real" than the GDPs of EU or USA.

The term economy nowadays is an abstract concept in the west. It used to be about cost of living, unemployment and other metrics you could relate to. Now it seems to be more about the bottom line of the billionaire class.

Compare the cost of fuel in Russia and any western country, it's coming close to being 3x the amount. Food is already becoming unaffordable for many. Maybe western imported food in Russia becomes more expensive, but food sourced from Russia or other countries is fine.

There was like a 20-30% inflation rise overall in consumer prices in Russia. It was pretty steep. In automobiles the inflation was a disaster and prices basically doubled. What to expect after all the Western auto-manufacturers pulled out all their facilities from Russia and took their ball home with them. Of course there are exceptions. The price of bread is basically the same. Fuel. Same.

It is not like the inflation was low pre war though. It was already at like 10%.

There are all sorts of little broken things in the economy but the worst thing was the logistics are all out of whack. The main European shipping companies refuse to do trade with Russia. Container trade at the Port of St. Petersburg, which does trade with Europe basically, was cut in half. And the links to China and Turkey are basically clogged. Russian trucking companies are not allowed to move their trucks through Europe for transport of goods either. More shipping is moving through the Black Sea and Far Eastern ports. But Far Eastern ports have capacity limitations and the Black Sea ports, well, let us say there is a steep premium for carrying cargo near a warzone.

Given the current situation. I think Russia could probably use taking Odessa for keeps. Since if trade is going to switch to Asia, having another huge port in the Black Sea where it doesn't freeze over would likely help the logistics quite a bit. In the long term anyway. They do have Novorossiysk, and now Mariupol. But Odessa is way bigger.
