But because they have Germanic, European super duper engineering....I have come to realize our friend here is just a Euro/Russian version of Jai Hind.
Normally he's telling everyone how the new Russo-Turkish alliance will destroy Germany, which is why the post is more confusing then normal.
why you think Middleast only import luxury goods?.
From Europe, yes. They import food and other things from other parts of the world but if it comes from Europe with higher wages it would either need to be higher quality or luxury to compete.
there are some recent large infrastructure projects in Middleast. They all given to Europeans.
Have you heard of the belt and road project? Chinese companies are are beating European companies in winning infrastructure contracts in Europe, how do you expect them to complete with Chinese companies in the middle east?
look at flight patterns of Middleast Airlines. which continent and destinations they they fly most? travel e0xcluding religious tourism.
Many of the middle eastern airlines use their home cities as hubs. It has little to do with trade.
Israel may have 50% population European decent but geographically its located in Middleast and it is integrating into Middleast.
As I pointed out earlier, Israel trades very little with its neighbours. That is not a healthy position to be in for any country. Even Taiwan's biggest trade partner is the mainland. It's more like the first colonies in the Americas where Europeans would ship produce to and from Europe rather than within the Americas.
Israel is anything but integrating into the middle east. The only "improvement" is coming from the leaders of a few dictators like Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Sudan and so on. Morocco got America to renounce separatist claims on western Sahara (a western first) and Sudan had terrorist groups delisted. Dictators can sometimes get away with unpopular foreign policies, but once in a while it causes enough unrest that they get overthrown (see the Shah and Iran).
For Israel to be accepted in the Middle East there needs to be a popular acceptance among the native population, do you see any chance of that happening? It's getting worse not better. Every few months there is an Israeli operation that leads to widespread outrage and condemnation.
As for gas. Europe and the west have spent decades diversifying their oil and gas from the middle east, precisely because of Israel. Then with one special military operation they are now more dependent on the middle east than they've ever been. If (or when) Russia cuts off oil and gas to Europe, what do you think the middle east will do?
