Russia becomes India’s 2nd largest oil supplier – Reuters

According to the report, Indian refiners received around 819,000 barrels per day of Russian oil last month, compared to some 277,000 in April.

About 24.57 million per month. This is going to ruffle those Western Media warriors about India while they gorge on copious amounts of Russian oil.

"Special military operations" soon on Taiwan? ;)

Did not read the article in detail. But the move makes sense to me.

Since China considers Taiwan as a renegade province and part of China, and Taiwan is not a state or member per UN, there is no need to declare war for any military action on reunification. This is just another tidying up some internal legal loose ends.

Can’t they just declare the continuation of the civil war if they want to launch a military reunification campaign? This would make the conflict legally an internal one.

It's not about Taiwan but protection of Chinese assets abroad.

Singapore's Defense Minister got a bit too defensive on his response to a PLA General officer's question with respect to the utility of the Shangri-la forum where according to the General is nothing but another western dominated table talk, western dominated arguments and has pushed or highlighted differences rather than fostering common interests.

Defense minister: You don't like it, well, you're free to leave or not to attend, it's your call. Paraphrasing his response.

My opinion: it seems that this old toad is more than happy when China and the PLA are attacked, maligned by incendiary questions that are of no value yet when a question is being raised by a Chinese General officer no less, the toad is rather indignant. Like how dare you. What a true white slave monkey that man is.

Very dissappointed with the demeanor of our defence minister in his reply to the Chinese delegate.
Hopefully we don't get to suffer for his insolence.

But what he said has truth to it.
What else to expect when Singapore is merely the venue.
International Institute for Strategic Studies is the organizer for the Shangri-La Dialogue, not Singapore.

The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) is a British research institute (or think tank) in the area of international affairs. Since 1997 its headquarters have been Arundel House in London, England.

No surprise that Shangri-La Dialogue is a platform for US propaganda.
They even allowed that clown who destined Ukraine for devastation and destruction to speak.
I believe it is beneficial for China to attend, if only to be able to forcefully refute the lies and smears by the US and its puppets.

How else can we get to enjoy the forceful rebuttals by Gen Wei Fenghe.
It is a global platform for him to deliver "Fight To The Very End" message to chill Austin Powers.
Impressive and commanding speech.
China should continue to sent their top generals here.

Gen Wei Fenghe speech in Chinese.

So it seems that China hosts its own security focused forum but the Singaporean Defence Minister suggested that it is too scripted for people's liking.

Going off from how the Chinese government usually operates, I would guess that his comments probably arent that far from the truth.

You can say the same for any part of the world. Europe thinks Africa is their backyard. The US thinks Central and South America as its backyard. Maybe the West should stop thinking parts of the world as their property. What do these two parts of the world have in common? They were decimated by the West. The indigenous people of Africa and and the Americas had their cultures ripped away and replaced with Western values more than any other part of the world. Today they will tell you they're the most disenfranchised people in the world and it was designed that way by the West. The fact is if China weren't around, the West would've continued to look at them as hopeless third world sh*tholes. It's only because China's rise is why the West has any sort of optimism. It is because of China not the West where you see these parts of the world see growth in their standard of living in general.
