It is a game between US and CN.
Beijing calls for the USA to earnestly respect the one China principle and to withdraw their congressmen immediately. US is saying with those visit that they have their own "one china principe". That is slowly changing the statu quo whether we like it or not

Well, depends on how much stock you put in words.

There is the old saying “Talk is cheap…”

The US and Taiwan were thoroughly embarrassed by the BioNTech vaccine sales last year. They made up BS like “China is blocking it”, etc.

Reality is that it was a simple commercial contract giving a single company Greater China distribution rights, the Taiwan government had no control over it because their power is limited. Simple as that. It was not some complex geopolitical game.

US and Taiwan media can “cry abt it”, but there are words and there are facts. No games can change it.

Seems like that may be the case. Tho it’s likely a military exercise since it’s lasting 15 days.

The mainland will further demonstrate its sovereignty over the island of Taiwan through military means and eliminate the erosion of sovereignty caused by collusion between the US and Taiwan - Hu Xijin

Wrong place, wrong time, wrong priority. In the present geopolitical, humanitarian and economic situations the world is facing, I would have thought these congressional representatives would be in Kiev or Sanaa or even Warsaw but definitely not Taipei. This PR sting could backfire.

Good opportunity to exposed the world of the US collusion with Taiwan or anyone that doesn't abide to their hegemonic ways.
