Which is what I said - Those who can afford it buy from the Saudis; while Russia dictates who gets to buy with what currency, on her own terms. on other hand Saudis will only sell at prices that are consistent with there $3.3T stock market. I think Saudis have stored enough wealth that they can wait for the buyers to show up at there prices. infact if a country has saudi owned refinery. they may give presence to take further bite from downstream price gouging.
When one have to defence the dollars, something has already gone seriously wrong.
Solomon Islands may not be able to withstand pressure from 5-eyes countries with or without China help but all those Pacific Island nations can no longer be taken for granted as someone's backyards or front yards.Solomon Islands is never going to withstand against Western pressure, unless China steps up.
China worked on signing the deal with it, time for China to step up and share the pressure for it. You can't simply leave your partners in the cold, otherwise forget about making new partners in the future.
