@LCR34 and yet LKY can speak out and able to formulate an independent foreign policy, we survived as a BLOC during the 70's and early 80's cause we speak with One voice. That policy deviate under Cory Aquino time as we follow the diktat of the US, earning us the moniker the little Brown brother or in more demeaning words the Brown Monkey. Bro I wish the Singaporean all the luck, the US is far away and is a guest in this region, hope that guest behave and not make trouble in our neighborhood.
To think that Singapore has produced intellectual, and accomplished diplomat like Kishore Mahbubani just to witness Singapore become a total cuck is a pure LOL.

One of crashed plane's black boxes found, badly damaged: official

By Global Times Published: Mar 23, 2022 05:09 PM

One of the crashed plane's two black boxes was found on Wednesday, but it was badly damaged and the technical team is trying to recover the information inside it, according to a press conference held in Wuzhou, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Investigation found the weather on the route of MU5735 was suitable for flying and there was no hazardous weather when the plane crashed. The communication connection between the flight and the ground was normal from the plane's departure until its sudden fall in altitude.

China Eastern Airlines revealed at the press conference that the plane, a Boeing 737-800, was introduced in June 2015. It had been maintained under strict standards of technical plans and in normal conditions. Before departure, the aircraft met the requirement for flying.

The airline said grounding all planes of the same model doesn't mean this model has safety risks, but it is an emergency response to major safety incidents and is a responsible move for travelers' safety. The company has enough transport capabilities and won't be affected by the suspension of some planes.

The three pilots were all in good health and their flying certificates were within the validity period. Their families are harmonious, according to the press conference.

On March 22, an F-22A Raptor fighter from the 325th Tactical Fighter Wing of the US Air Force crashed while landing at Eglin Air Force Base (Florida). The pilot was not injured.

Additional info from ASB Military News: it's caused by the failure of landing gear. -

In another news:

Iran used Russian Rezonans-NE Radar System to successfully track American F-35 Stealth Fighters. Deputy CEO of the Rezonans research centre, Alexander Stuchilin: "At the beginning of 2020 this radar identified U.S. F-35 planes and tracked them. The radar’s personnel were transmitting information, including the routes of F-35 flights, in clear, thus confirming that it was reliably tracking the planes. For this reason, the opponent did not commit any irreparable actions that might have caused a big war.” - Stuchilin highlighted that the Rezonans-NE radar had been on round-the-clock combat duty in Iran for years.

This is big if true. Iran should share the data with Russia and China, so that counter-measures can be developed to deal with this threat.
