Some people do not understand what a blow this has been to Western prestige.

They cannot solve their problems in their own domain, and yet feel free to export the same ideology/processes.

What we are seeing is the comedian on stage, whose jokes are no longer interesting to the audience.

This is a replay of World War One in Europe, on a smaller scale, for now that is.

But some people object to that categorization, and claim this is a new Cold War.

Which is better? A mini-WW1 or a new Cold War?

I doubt this is going to work in Asia. At least not like Western Europe against Russia. China is big trading partner of most of the Asian countries. Many are uneasy of the rise of China due to US goading but that's temporary. I think there a point in time when countries will be at ease with china assuming top position over the US. Australia will be only outlier.

This is classic Chinese propaganda.

She is just expressing the standard line, they want an Asian NATO. That implies militarization, obviously. That implies suspicion and/or war.

Of course, China keeps boring the crap out of everybody with their win-win mantra and stories about development.

So that is the choice.

Fundamental racism. People like the authors genetically cannot accept that there is a non-white leader in a non-white country who is as powerful as the POTUS while enjoying a much higher approval rating in his own country, which happens to be a peer to US. This, is the root cause of all these types of agony and racism and wishful thinking. I am so certain because I used various approaches and excuses to explain all those and failed. This is the only explanation that I can logically connect the dots.

Well, according to some of the comments from Indian users to this tweet is that the "light" doesn't mean or endorsed a "Russian flag" as implied/inferred by the Global Times tweet.

Here's their explanation:

This Arnab guy is very passionate, and evocative, which is one of the reasons he gets a tremendous amount of ratings in India. I know this guy is a super Indian Jai Hind and blasts on China whenever the topic is all about China vs India, but on this topic, I think he makes some pointed remarks regarding the Ukraine/NATO situation.

It could be many reasons. Many of them just don't want to leave, and family reason usually is one of the top reasons why they choose to stay.
