China should impose export restrictions on both rare earths themselves AND refining equipment - prohibit selling them to companies related to the US MIC plus sanction companies that sell refined rare earths to them using Chinese equipment.

i am not sure from where this sabotage of German industry comes from. Germans are confident of there engineering talent that they can raise export prices of what ever they produce to compensate for higher input prices. Germany maybe hoping to knock out other manufacturers like French or some other Asian with higher prices.
