Yes, China should increase defense spending to 5% of GDP and not one percentage less!

Soviet Union mode activated
this is not sustainable long term as the place it coming form is not cheap. once Germany pulls the final plug i doubt anywhere else in the system this kind of businesses will be allowed. as skilled labor and business has to serve Germany. thats how Germany maintain trillions in export and import by uniting labor and transport for final assembly in Germany. so alot of labor for Trucking is needed to connect small and big business across so many countries.Actually Ukraine has done a deal with US Westinghouse to develop uranium fuel rods for them. These are supposed to be compatible with the Soviet VVER reactor designs they use. Ukraine also have recently signed another deal with Westinghouse to build two new nuclear reactors. So while, yes, Russia has never cut support for Ukrainian nuclear power generators they are trying to move to US based fuel supply.
They are still living in the 00's world where Chinese-Anglo relations are great are very politically neutral on everything. It makes me wonder why they bother in the Anglo world. Are some of the folks @CGTN STUPID?
For A LEADING CHINESE MEDIA, CGTN sucks in telling, presenting, advocating, not to mention fighting for China's causes. It's always reporting in a stupid defensive tone, seeking validation from the west and western government line a student seeking validation from a parent. And yet, the management of the said company is too old and still too naive by banning some western analysts that are pro-China just because the said person offered a friendly advice in how to improve It's communication approach. But then goes to send an invite to a proud self-proclaimed China hater? Lol
Uhh Comrade Candace Owens?
CGTN should hire Hu Xijin for a whole of company makeover. Global Times has improved greatly over the last 2 years and the US-related stories are a great and entertaining read. There is still some way to go on other topics as the neutral / defensive coverage is still present (but waning), and it seems that's due to the authors still trying to project a sense of respect for their opponent. They are still living in the 00's world where Chinese-Anglo relations are great are very politically neutral on everything. Compare them with RT who have done an outstanding job in voicing western dissent and opposition groups, and have put less effort in promoting a Russian position.
In the long run, I think the RT approach is better. Neither Russia or China will be able to persuade a significant proportion of the western world to become pro-China or pro-Russian. There's too much racism/xenophobia for that to happen. At least with the RT approach the public will start to distrust their government and realise not everything they say is true.
lol... are you his 1 follower @Crang ?
That dude should be the one leading CGTN and we're going to see fireworksCGTN should hire Hu Xijin for a whole of company makeover. Once the authors / China stop respecting the target of their articles, the writing starts getting good.
