If anything "Civilization" makes more sense because it aligns with your "Culture" affinity argument, but you rather split hairs when your logic doesn't fit your narrative.

Using your logic, the difference between Russian and French is nowhere near the difference between Beijinger and Hongkonger, so Russia would be justified in restoring the Roman Empire and conquering Europe, because there is sufficient "cultural similarity".

Ukraine is an independent nation at the breakup of Soviet Union, so comparing Shaanxi to Ukraine is a bad choice.

Shaanxi is the birthplace of Chinese Civilization, you splitting hairs between "State vs. Civilization" while at same time arguing for "Cultural similarities" is really ironic don't you think? A Civilization has stronger cultural affinity than a mere state.

Russia recognized Ukraine as a sovereign independent state in Soviet collapse, so it's no longer a "core land" of Russia anymore.

I stated Shaanxi being the birth place of Chinese civilization without stating it is also part of a Chinese state from the beginning. (I give you that I did not say it).

That is is a knowledge every educated person should know without being told. If you know this you should not have played dump and cocky as if it is not there. Ignoring this fundamental fact or trying to exclude it from my analog is cherry-picking and mind twisting. That's like rejecting e=mc^2 because I did not tell you 1+1=2.

BTW, since you like accusing people cherry-picking. Cherry-picking is at least based on partial fact, isn't it? What was "Chinese official confirmed to Ukrainian official of China's objection to annexation of Crimea"? That is a total lie without any truth. If you are capable of lying on that scale, I don't see any limit that you wouldn't break to get your way.

Russia/Belarus are still among top trading partners of Ukraine and there is no shortage of ukranian in Russia/Belarus. Russia still pay rent to Ukraine for pipelines and still refuel its nuclear reactors that produce 59% of its electricity. Once those reactors gets old. No one in West will built new for them.
infact China is the top trading partner of Ukraine. Ukranian-Chinese trade will further enhance if ukraine enters into EAEU.
Ukraine is practically in same situation as Turkey/Germany. Ukraine want to built military with West but increasingly depended on East. Its neither here nor there.

Actually Ukraine has done a deal with US Westinghouse to develop uranium fuel rods for them. These are supposed to be compatible with the Soviet VVER reactor designs they use. Ukraine also have recently signed another deal with Westinghouse to build two new nuclear reactors. So while, yes, Russia has never cut support for Ukrainian nuclear power generators they are trying to move to US based fuel supply.

@Bellum_Romanum Hahahaha, No bro , I'll see the end of this pandemic coming in the second quarter as we are now planning to open up for overseas tourist, Regarding our business it's focus on Outbound travel and catering to inbound Chinese tourist. ;) We have tie up with our Chinese partners in Xiamen and Guangzhou and the means of communication is done by mixture of fukiennese, Mandarin , English and some even Tagalog as they frequently visited us here and learn some of the language.

And here I can explain why the Chinese are natural born traders, they're easily adoptable, always looking to please its client and to work the extra mile to please them, the Koreans are okay BUT sometimes inflexible and hard to understand, the Japanese to polite , there is always a barrier and you have to work hard to earn their trust INSTEAD of Them doing it since we are their clients, really weird business practices. HKG one word arrogant while the rest of ASEAN are great as most of those business owner are local Chinese.

Hong Kong peeps are some of the worst kind of Chinese I have ever encountered and dated. Some are too full of themselves I guess based on their proud historical connection as a colony of the British.
