there is already a European army called Nato. and there are others in supporting role like Sweden with its advance AWACS.
no one pointing out that Sweden can make AWACS but not French. and Turkey can mass produce drone but not French.

The irony is that with inflation at 3 decade record highs, if China were to fully adhere to the agricultural and commodity purchases in the phase 1 trade deal, it would end up competing with Americans for the same base commodities and drive up the price of food and energy, resulting in even higher inflation.
It makes no difference to an American farmer whether his bushel of wheat gets sold to a fellow American household or one in China, he'll sell to who ever bids the highest price on the commodity exchanges.
