A nation that in its short 225 year life has only known up and not even the experience of one cycle yet and thinks its the end of history and it gets to be on top forever because its god chosen nation... will be eating humble pie soon, deflating at 15% per year
The West implements such a policy on their own people and foreigners alike while the Chinese don’t and treated everyone, particularly foreigners, like their friends due to their more Confucian dominated culture. Every successful Chinese dynasty or kingdom treated their people, particularly the weak like the elderly, with care, and those that don’t would collapse. That’s why China naively thought the world was like that for the past few decades. Nowadays, thanks to Trump, Biden and the recent wave of racism towards Asians in the West, the Chinese realized that Westerners have a different way of thinking and are becoming more alert to Western expats’ actions. In addition, there has been more awareness of the West’s problems due to the West’s abysmal response to Covid 19. Why do you think people like Serpentza or Laowhy loved China in the past and currently hate China? It’s because the Chinese are starting to realize that the world, particularly the West, isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

I still haven't heard anything of what China gets from the Phase One deal. If China gets nothing, then China has a right to break it because all the US has done is further take against China since then and under Biden. It sounds like how the US expects China to help the US deter Russia from invading Ukraine. What does China get out of it? A step at easing US tensions with China but nothing concrete?
So they're saying Russia is at 70% capability of invading Ukraine. This shows you how dumb or evil Americans are when I always hear American paranoia that China is staging a Pearl Harbor sneak attack invasion of the US. You would see it coming long before it happens so there's no surprise element to it at all. The US is the only country that has the capability of invading a country on the other side of the world. Most of any army is logistics not front line soldiers. Where's China's bases around the world. They taunt China has no allies. What country around the US is going to let China stage troops in their country. It's all an excuse to set up for them to militarily attack China.
