Turkey had a consumption of

. Source on Turkey increasing their consumption by almost 2 times? The figure in the article is just one day (or a few), it is not representative of any major shifts. Plus from the same article:
Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) estimated that the country’s natural gas consumption will reach 60.04 bcm this year, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette on Jan. 28.
Which is lower than German figures even for the previous year.

The same situation is with Germany. These two countries are identical in systems. both have identical population. so how Turkey exceed Germany consumption? either Turkish population too rich to consume or Turkish produce more than Germany.
infact EBRD gave most loans to Turkey in past couple of years. It just show German power in Europe.

German currency is sound, while the Turkish Lira is anything but sound. (Turkish government is trying to keep the exchange rate so low so to expect their export industries to do a huge comeback after the COVID lockdown is lifted, ignoring their equally-desperate need to import natural resources) The insane lira low exchange rate is also another reason why firms in Turkey were always looking for international loans, since they got buttfucked hard if they even attempted to ask for domestic loans from the Turkish Central Bank.

it is actual physical consumption that matters. Turkey suddenly consuming more that exceed Germany. since they are consuming so much so it means they already had the infrastructure for this surge.

The daily gas flow to Turkey stands at around 270 mcm, out of which the TurkStream gas pipeline transmits 44 mcm, the Blue Stream pipeline supplies 47 mcm and the Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) is responsible for 17.3 mcm.

The spot market agreement with Azerbaijan covers 7 mcm, while the country's underground gas storage facilities provide around 45 mcm. Turkey secures the remaining capacity through its liquefied natural gas (LNG) and floating LNG facilities.

You must have made a mistake. From the first article in your post, I quote:
Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) estimated that the country’s natural gas consumption will reach 60.04 bcm this year, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette on Jan. 28.

Germany's consumption in 2020 was 89.3 bcm. Germany's GDP has increased since 2020, see data from world bank. This means that their energy consumption would have increased as well. That put Germany still a lot ahead of Turkey.

Istanbul airport is not an European airport. It serves as a international hub. Lots of its traffic has nothing to do with Europe but with Africa, Asia.

I kind of understand your purpose of the post through your last sentence. But I think your sources do not serve your purpose.

Those are estimates not actual consumptions. Actual daily consumptions is much higher than estimates. we already know that Auto production is far lower due to chip shortage. and Turkey does not make electric vehicles nor Turkey receives Chinese trains daily like Germany. so electronic component shortage in Turkey will be much higher than Germany. we can safely conclude that Turkey has surpassed Germany in consumption.
Istanbul is European Airport as it is designed to serve Europe. does not matter where it is located.
