I think this is one of the cases when you wrote something nice about China but your editor wanted to turn it into a China hit piece. I read the article. The writer had a great time. She had nothing bad to say besides that headline. But what a headline.

If it was just the headline, "Vanishing slow trains of China", that's perfectly fine.

It's the blurb under it, how the "time-honored tradition of a slow journey home is under threat" that makes it so clueless and laughable.

Well since Indians and Anglos go well together like icing and cake, just replace the missing population numbers in Europe with Indian immigrants :cool:
