The largest American Navy build up in the history of America, and indeed the history of the earth. That’s what.

For some (only) God knows reason, the United States has decided to deploy most all of its massive naval forces off the Chinese coast. This includes five separate flotillas. Each one consisting of multiple aircraft and VTOL carriers, submarines and cruisers, destroyers and support vessels.
Along with that are elements of MAC (the Air Force Military Airlift Command) ferrying troops and munitions and arms to the Pacific. To include Korea, Japan, and other bases throughout the Pacific.

This is comparable to the build up for the Normandy Invasion of “D Day”.

In short, the largest concentration of United States Naval and Marine forces are now concentrated off the coast of China. And it is not being made public.

China’s ambassador to the US has warned that Beijing and Washington are likely destined for war if the latter encourages Taiwan to seek independence, describing Taipei as the “biggest tinderbox” in the relationship between the countries.

@9dashline bro the infectious point had pass its crescendo after Trump left office in 2021, under Brandon with its domestic, foreign and economic policy in tatters, it had its hand full, even IF Trump return in 2025, his option is so limited that his only recourse is do a Nixon and recalibrate its China policy.

My reasoning, by 2025

1) China economy will be at least 90% of US Real GDP , 120% in PPP term
2) Chinese navy will be at least 70% of the total US navy, US deployment in the pacific and the Chinese navy has reach parity in both quantity and quality.
3) China will have address its weakness in Semis, IC and Aircraft engine thus nullifying the US stranglehold.
4) BRI and the Russian Eurasian Economic Union will morph into one single entity, making the region the next economic frontier, without the US and the EU in the mix.
5) SCO will become the next EU economically, while the CSTO will become its arm component.
6) With Trump returning as President with his America first policy, its Alliance system will fracture and may see the dissolution of NATO. Right now the fissures is visible and is getting larger as US foreign Policy is a mess.

Accept most points but not the SCO one. SCO has India, Pakistan in it too. There are just way too many conflicts between Ind-China, Ind-Pak for it to even remotely operate like EU .

@Kaeshmiri Hello brother long time no hear and happy new year! Brother from my point of view both will gravitate cause the incentive is to large to ignore, they're in the neighborhood and India this time after having experience the western treatment as part of the Quad had wisen up. America and EU is far away and Japan is miniscule and I have to correct myself , A free trade zone like that of EU.

And what will exactly happen if Mighty Sweden & Almighty Finland joins NATO?

US needs a distraction from the internal shamble they are in. The problem is, Uncle vlad is not exactly Ghani where little superpower US went for drone striking 7-8 years old "terrorists", remember that?

So i am all in to see what F-ATO exactly does.
