The irony is that Turkish people, while culturally Turkic and speak a Turkic language, aren't ethnic Turks like Kazakhs, Bashkirs or Yakutians. Heck, even Northern Han Chinese have more Turkic blood probably, so maybe China should make their own Turkic world map and exclude Turkey from it, lmao.
Allow me to borrow your post.
Erdogan and his followers are really bizarre deep in their bones. The following photo is not a joke. It is from
If we read that article, it listed Xiongnu as their first ancestor. Erdogan must suffer a severe inferiority syndrome that could lead a fatherless man (I will avoid the usual word for this term, B.....) to hang on to a glorious name he heard from a story.
In fact, most Xiongnu population stayed in China after the collapse of Xiongnu confederacy and eventually disappeared in various ethnic groups in modern day China and (outer) Mongolia. If anyone out of vanity is to claim Xiongnu legacy, Turkey would be the last one qualified to do so.
The article then made the connection of Xiongnu and European "Hun" that remains far-stretched. And yet Erdogan has made his own version of "history".
He also claimed lineage of the Golden Horde, but I don't remember Changis Khan mentioned anything about being a Turk.
Erdogan's brain must be made of something different from the rest of humanbeing.
If I were to play Erdogan's game from Chinese standing point. I would make the following claim.
Because Tang Emperors were the celestial Khagan of all Turks, modern Turkey being the "direct" decedent (as claimed) must submit to PRC rule.
