'Change through trade'. With other words they traded with China not only for the bucks but also with the exception that by trading we would adopt wholesale their preffered political and economical regime. The white mans burden had never left this world.

China should capture any German warship that sails through the Taiwan strait.

A must read article about the speech from former Chinese ambassador to the US, Cui Tiankai. Interesting tidbits from Cui Tiankai revealed in the article. I like the no-nonsense reality in those tidbits.

Beijing must prepare well for a roller-coaster ride in

because Washington’s containment strategy towards China has no bottom line, the former Chinese envoy to Washington said.

Speaking at a conference in Beijing, Cui Tiankai, the country’s longest-serving ambassador to the United States, warned against any “carelessness, slackness and incompetence” in China’s dealing with the US.

“Every bit of the people’s interest is hard-earned and we must not allow anyone to plunder it or make it suffer through our own carelessness, slackness and incompetence,” Cui told Chinese diplomats and academics at an annual seminar hosted by the China Institute of International Studies at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on Monday.

“The current stage of history in

s will continue for quite some time, and the US will not willingly accept the rise of a power with a very different social system, ideology, cultural traditions and even ethnicity,” Cui said, adding that there had been “a very strong element of racism” in Washington’s China policy.

“The US will inevitably try every possible means and spare no effort, even without a bottom line, to suppress, contain, divide and besiege China,” he said.

The irony is that Turkish people, while culturally Turkic and speak a Turkic language, aren't ethnic Turks like Kazakhs, Bashkirs or Yakutians. Heck, even Northern Han Chinese have more Turkic blood probably, so maybe China should make their own Turkic world map and exclude Turkey from it, lmao.
Allow me to borrow your post.

Erdogan and his followers are really bizarre deep in their bones. The following photo is not a joke. It is from

If we read that article, it listed Xiongnu as their first ancestor. Erdogan must suffer a severe inferiority syndrome that could lead a fatherless man (I will avoid the usual word for this term, B.....) to hang on to a glorious name he heard from a story.

In fact, most Xiongnu population stayed in China after the collapse of Xiongnu confederacy and eventually disappeared in various ethnic groups in modern day China and (outer) Mongolia. If anyone out of vanity is to claim Xiongnu legacy, Turkey would be the last one qualified to do so.

The article then made the connection of Xiongnu and European "Hun" that remains far-stretched. And yet Erdogan has made his own version of "history".

He also claimed lineage of the Golden Horde, but I don't remember Changis Khan mentioned anything about being a Turk.

Erdogan's brain must be made of something different from the rest of humanbeing.

If I were to play Erdogan's game from Chinese standing point. I would make the following claim.
Because Tang Emperors were the celestial Khagan of all Turks, modern Turkey being the "direct" decedent (as claimed) must submit to PRC rule.

Thx Putin. The more he delays the US -> the stronger China gets -> Russia gets stronger -> US is delayed even more -> China gets stronger -> etc

Its a losing game. Which only proves how wrong was the disastrous choice by the West to make Russia an enemy

As long as Russia is friendly to China, China has nothing to fear from anyone.

Good article that reveals the essence.

Superpowers with global commitments find it hard to pick and choose among regions. The more desperate Washington becomes for calm on non-Asian fronts so it can focus on China, the more incentive it gives Russia and Iran to press for advantage. Those gambits produce the very instability America seeks to avoid, throwing U.S. strategy into disarray. A global power that seeks to husband its strength for rivalry in one region may simply end up with weakness everywhere.

The Chinese, Russian, Iranian and North Korean coordinated strategy is to pull the US from all sides giving it no time to rest and no direction to focus. It is like a wolf pack trying to take the catch of a lone tiger. Of course, the US is also trying to do the same via its proxies like Japan and NATO, but from the outcome today it does not seem played well.
