compare that to this column. there is a reason why bridge collapse and it is just too easy to blame it on the overloading, The 2 trucks being overloaded will likely be running on the slow outer lane and the torsional force is likely a major contributing factors causing the tilt and eventual collapse. This accident may not have happened if they were on the middle lane or perhaps if the traffic was restricted to 2 lanes,

Adding more horizontal support to the column would likely also help mitigate such accidents,

the world is full of silly people that are not restricted to Chinese truck drivers only. The planners and designers needs to take these into consideration in their design, Otherwise, they will need to enforce policing action which is not fool-proof either.

The funny thing is that even if one overlooks the obvious issues in American societies, no one really questions the effects of American Middle East policy on ethnic minorities in the region. Most of America sees itself as a Christian nation guided by God, yet their clumsy war fighting has basically set up genocide situations for their Christian “brothers and sisters” such as Assyrians in Iraq (protected by Sadaam), and Maronites, Armenians and Arab Christians in Syria (protected by Assad).

I have to refute the great Chen Weihua here. The US is actually not an exception on self-glorifying. It is by design of the "populism democracy". Winners in the latest popularity race have to keep bragging for themselves and slandering the others 24 X 7 to win the next race. The US happens to be one of the worst in the gang.
