Yet this software does nothing when it comes to tornados and drought that is already wrecking the USA without an invasion by China or Russia. Talk about priorities. If they don't get their priorities right, they will soon face a societal crisis due to the people finally going insane from the inflation and if this software cannot predict ways on how to reverse the ire of the people at home due to all the disasters happening to them, NOT IN TAIWAN THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMMON MAN, then these idiots deserves to be lynched by their own citizens due to focusing on developing programs to piss people off instead of spending times fixing the economy that they have wrecked due to trillions of dollars being spent on designing programs to piss people off and not the people and the fact that this tornado disaster failed to wake these people up to a crisis at home makes me wish that a tornado should strike the white house in order to make these people understand that their priorities should lie with the people and not with designing COMPUTER SOFTWARE THAT TEACHES ONE HOW TO PISS PEOPLE OFF WHEN ANY IDIOT COULD DO THAT WITHOUT A COMPUTER .

My main point was the example of Chinese client having USD. Using EURO makes no difference than USD for such Chinese client.

Besides that, with the growing EU hostility towards Russia, EURO isn't much better a choice.

Another problem of EURO is that it is traded through SWIFT, the very center of the problem of US sanction. In this regard, EURO is as bad as USD.
Europe still depends on russian gas and oil, and they pay Russia in euros. Russia can pay for Chinese products in euros. China can then use the euros for trade with Europe, reducing the use of usd.

As an aside, in the event of any potential cataclysmic event (war, natural disasters) that'll cripple world wide electricity grids how are people that have wealth or investments in things like bitcoins, ethereum, etc..going to be able to sustain the level of production and utilization between users when the said tech is heavily reliant on electricity and computing power if there's the supply of energy is limited or non-existent? How's this system going to be viable in such scenarios? Anyone here care to explain?

Cryto, NFT and other intangible nonsense is the Tulip Fever of our modern digital age.

What your are saying is valid needless to say. But you seem not listening to what I said. Do I have to repeat for the third time that "the example of my original post was about a Chinese client having most of his export earning in USD"?

For this example, he would have to first exchange from USD to EURO, that means exchange rate fluctuation and service charge by the bank, why would he want to do that? I have read many cooperate finance report, exchange rate makes a big difference in profit.

US, ASEAN and EU (top 3) each accounts for equal share of China's trade. Part of ASEAN trade is in USD as well. Together with rest of the world, in total around 50% of China's trade is in USD. That means majority of Chinese traders have more than 50% of their account in USD. Who is going to pay for their exchange loss?

I don't disagree with your valid point. But since you are asking me the question first, you need to give me a feedback on my post before you move on to something else. At least I expect you to say "Yes, I agree with this example, but on the other hand ABC" or "No I disagree because DEF, and further more XYZ". Without you doing so, it feels like I am talking to a wall, then I would not be interesting in responding in the future. To be frank, I am a bit annoyed.

A real barrage today before the christmas recess. I seriously lost count how many Chinese research institutions and companies they have added to the treasury and commerce blacklist. Demitri of the FT seems to be their point man for leaking information.

Demetri was also the idiot who kept harping propaganda with his China "broke the laws of physics" lol. 100% he is on CIA's payroll

As for the rest, you see sanctions damaging Chinese institutions/companies, I see expanded demand for domestic products to replace sanctioned foreign technology
The more the US sanctions, the more the domestic companies will be able to find room to grow

Win-Win
Win for delusional US idiots who think they somehow beat China with this move
Win for Chinese companies which will have more customers

Just hike the rmb by 5% per year, and that would send the racists into disarray.
