The university apologizes. The problem is that they don't repent and they will still do so if they have the opportunity. They are just a tool, used by the government. The government wants to expand soft power, and universities must find ways to complete it. Taking care of foreign students, providing the best facilities, but they think it is not enough, foreign male students need women. They went too far and were sentenced to condemned. If they do more discreetly, no one will care about. It is not the first case and will never be the last case. The government does not punish these universities, because the government is its top supporters.

Not only foreign students, many foreign teachers have flirted, charming, even rape, forcing Chinese girls to have sex with them. Those who have failed, lazy and could not have a good job in the West, quickly became a teacher in China just because they knew foreign languages. And most recently, a black teacher killed a Chinese student because she didn't accept his flirt.

On YouTube, there are several extreme Chinese anti-channels. Founded by foreign teachers. People who come to Chinese teach English, then flirt and marry a Chinese girl, and now he earns more income with Youtube channel - insulting - China

I don't think central government actively support these efforts as it would inevitably cause too much public embarrassments and resentments. It's more like the central government set a target for soft-power reasons and local bureaucrats(university principals, provincial level education officials)tried to do whatever it takes to meet established targets for career advancement. Given PRC is not real an attractive location for good quality international students, officials uses whatever means to meet its target.

I have never said that "Chinese government wants female students to sleep with foreigners". That's why I said "but they think it is not enough and They went too far"

They = University

Things must been really bad for foreigners in japan that the criticism came from their master, who supposed to keep quiet when their pets misbehaved

At least in China, no police will randomly interrogates you for being black/foreign, unless you commit crimes that is

Yes I consider them narrative driving until the other side of the story is being disclosed through public statement, not only Tencent and Sohu are not reliable, even CGTN and People's Daily can get things wrong too. before you busy chest humping at me, I do acknowledge some of your point according to my experience, some incompetent authorities do tend to shifting blames to front-line workers and thus why I agree on such exposure, as such news does have positive effect on bringing civilian supervision into the process. as the louder they cry the sooner it might get solved IF the case is indeed true, or proven to be false otherwise, but your idea of relating such negative news that's bound to happened in a nationalistic developing country (that's just been ride of heavy western influence) into a whole national matter is problematic and you rationality of presumption of guilt is ridiculous, because it closely resembles western MSM method
You are asking for a level of proof that is unrealistic under current circumstances. Of course official media including Chinese ones could post fake news but they are most authoritative sources we could find. Since all of those cases were politically sensitive to say the least, it's not surprising government officials and media chose to sweep them under the rug without having any follow-on stories. Also there wasn't just presumption of guilt. They were guilty and wrong because they publicly apologized.

I post these examples to support the premise that foreigners do enjoy certain special treatments in mainland. And I think this is problematic phenomenon for PRC as it could further increase foreign worship among its citizens. It also runs contrary to Xi's proclamation that Chinese people has already stood up.

Extricating these types of incidents from society will take time, but it is already in progress. A lot of overseas Chinese, and Asians in general have started to look down on many of these foreign countries, and the trend will only pick up as the US / west declines further.

Based on current trends, we might even see a full reversal in our lifetimes

depends. is it? those contingencies are litigated in court. did CEO get taken hostage? this is a very simple question with a very simple answer that you're dancing around.
We don't even know local CEO involved was Chinese. No he wasn't taken "hostage" Why did you think Chinese workers kept the US CEO in the factory? Could it be that they didn't have enough faith that Chinese courts or law enforcement to protect low level workers' interests? Given the widespread and unlawfully nature of unpaid overtime under 996 condition, Chinese workers are already having a hard time getting their rightful wages from Chinese bosses, you actually think those unfortunate workers would've trusted local government to protect their interests effectively against foreign/US bosses. They probably learned from previous experiences that they had no other choices so they decided to create a large incident. Remember many Chinese officials blindly follow the concept that there aren't any detail/things too small when it comes to dealing with foreigners (外交无小事).

996 applies to highly paid tech company workers, and 996 wasn't around in 2013. first mention of 996 was in 2016.

he was extrajudicially detained. that is not hostage? was he free to walk out of the building?

As for dorm arrangements, one doesn't need Chinese social media see the the difference. You just need to walk into any Chinese universities or talk to students that graduated from Chinese universities.

I have already provided news sources for Nanjing metro story. As for study buddy program, Shandong university has already publicly apologized for its absurd program.

Shandong university apologizes for student study buddy program as the program sign up form contained words such as "befriending foreigners of opposite sex.

I am fully aware that some of the negative stories about foreigners' privileges on Chinese social media are exaggerations. But none of my examples were from so-called profiting seeking bot accounts 营销号/带节奏. They can all be backed up by legitimate news sources.

As for DR Congo situation, I haven't so far expressed any opinions about how PRC should react in this thread.
Your anecdotal examples are just that. Where I fail to see or understand the complains here is the painting of a picture in which you're alleging that Chinese people's lives in China are no better than what they were back in the colonial era, where Chinese folks are treated worse by their own government and foreigners were treated much better due to the imposition of the foreign powers who had set up shop in China. A ridiculous and thought provoking insult to the government and to the vast overwhelming people back in China that don't feel, see, or interpret the events you have provided as proof of the apparent discrimination by the Chinese from it's own government. It's like what you're suggesting is that what exactly? Dismantle the current government and replaced it with what? Western style democracy some loud but few passionate butthurt gang can run on this emotional charade platform that China ought to impose some kind of laws where Han Chinese reign Supreme and the rest of 56 ethnicities in China play supporting roles to make the Han majority feel good about itself?

And let the PLA interventionist policies kick in by going on expeditionary missions "punishing countries" that mistreated Chinese ethnic people but are nationalities of whatever X,Y,Z countries the supposed discriminations are happening? And for what exactly? To satisfy the emotional need for some kind of revenge and to show the world that what they have been fearing and dreading of China are actually true. And for once China needs to be checked if not outright splintered before it gets too strong? I don't know what song and dance some of the folks here are asking for.

Some of the complaints here are no different from the complaints I have heard from the white folks in Canada and especially in the U.S. where similar complaints have been alleged and made against their own government. In which they have expressed the sentiments that their "white ethic groups" are going through white genocide by being replaced systematically through mass immigration, by being replaced or denied the chance to attend their schools of choice because of quota a.k.a. affirmative action, by being denied well deserved promotions due to "diversity" meaning minorities (blacks, brown, women, Asians) get the spot. The majority of crimes and police killings are made against their group etc..and the government and parties on both sides have been bought and paid for them big bad "JEWS."

No laws, no government are perfect. They are only as good and responsive based on the quality or type of people that are in power. So if there's an existing and growing issues of perceived and worst of all real misapplication of laws against any regular Chinese that must be looked into seriously and if such allegations are found to be systemic then it must change and be rooted out. But if such issue exist based solely on one's perception (feelings and entitlement) and not on hard evidence, then the weight of the law must fall on the accuser equally harsh if not disproportionately harsher because such unfounded complaints do bring social disorder and disunity, a situation that must not be allowed to fester because it can and will lead to internal instability and chaos.
