I don't see how US soft-power has caused any damage for CN, since so called Western soft power is why the country is so united in the first place, and people make fun of the western MSM and would like them to the remind such way until the day CN hard power is beyond the west, the foreigner's opinion only matter to the so called western style democracy, thus created an echo chamber of "Opinion Matters", but people around the world ignore fact that is, we are still ruled by the selected few, and it is their opinion and words that actually matters, not some Redditards posting cartoon pictures to fight evil CCP. Also have you seen any third world country that has a great softpower ? softpower is the projection of hard power, just like why there always gonna be some white guy wear tactical gear saving the world in Hollywood movies, and I have noticed that, with the rising of hard power, China has been pushing out more and more products of soft power too, Tiktok and HuaWei for example
@Overbom bro after reading the article I was dumbfounded, what a rubbish article. The Australian is an interloper and we in the region never acknowledge her as part of Asia and never will delegate our sovereignty to speak for us. Her anti China stand instead of boosting her prestige in the region make us think otherwise, an extension of western hegemonism.
