I agree. Even the most noteworthy homegrown tech company is arguably barely known in Australia itself. The name escapes me at the moment but their young founders are billionaires that are regularly featured in the local media.They are the exception.

I think it's worthwhile just for the sporting incentive. Now a lot of Chinese are learning winter sports because of the Olympics. It's great. And I think China has a lot of untapped potential in winter resorts. It's a great diversion and a small way to reenergize the Northeastern economy. A lot of room to develop winter resorts in Northwest and Northeast China.

I'm looking forward to seeing the China national hockey team. But I bet they're gonna crash like the basketball and soccer team. Maybe the women's squad will do better.

Does anyone think Chinese will be good at ski jumping? Asians have longer torsos which create greater lift in the air like a wing. Am I just thinking things?

hmmm, the quality of soldiers much also be full of tacos and smoked beef so when they inevitably get themselves shot, they will end up smelling like smoked meat meaning that China could figuratively enter a new industry of selling gas masks to Russia and the like due to all the air population that is going to happen from taking down fattened soldiers full of smoked beef. War has certainly taken a turn for the hilarious, it literally is going to become yet another way for China to make money and also yet another way that the USA is adding to climate change and overall deficient. That ultimately means that the words from the USA in regards to climate change ultimately amounts to a load of ding ding and ultimately end up costing everyone more and more money, bloody money hogs.
