@montyp165 bro I heard that Russia export gas to the US, It's ironic , the German had been played...lolThe folks here gave great insights on this much faster than I could give, but suffice it to say German capitulation here serves to curry favor with the US while simultaneously affecting Russian gas exportation and increasing Germany's influence over the gas market in the EU (especially with the demand for transferring control of Nord Stream 2 assets to the German subsidiary). The Russian goal is to be a stable long term gas supplier to the EU market both for increasing market share and influence in that market, but of course the US and its ideological lackeys treat that as a hostile act, hence all the political skullduggery.
I'd rather they just cancel the games altogether. China doesn't need the Olympics to make themselves feel special anymore. Like you said it's a big farce anyway. What's even the point when the whole thing is being so politicised? Where's the Olympic spirit? Where's the sportsmanship when countries boycott and China wins by default?
China should cite pandemic risk and shut the blinders on the whole thing and be done with this nonsense. Much more meaningful to let other countries host the games while the Chinese team swoops in and takes their golds, in their own turf.

I love how those countries don't even try to pretend that they are not merely puppet states. Papa Biden signals de-escalation and all of the sudden the EU & other US minions (totally on their own, yeah xD) decide to de-escalate as well. That's why there's no point in even dealing with the EU or Japan separately, just talk to the US - you don't speak to a dog or a cat, you speak to their owner.
