@Overbom brother a little secret, the US had already pre deploy the launch system but not the missile and in storage as part of EDCA. BUT to operate those machine you need the VFA which Duterte suspended and under review. And I think he will not allow the missile to be deployed here for the simple reason. The telephone call was reported in CCTV news at 19:00, so it is significant. But the CCTV report did NOT mention any invitation of visit from either side. This is my reason of doubt, because if Xi did invite, there is no reason to not mention it. It is also highly unlikely that Herzog would extend the invitation wihtou knowing Xi will accept it. All these invitations are only offered by the host after low level diplomatic officials have agreed to have a visit.

, but suffice it to say German capitulation here serves to curry favor with the US while simultaneously affecting Russian gas exportation and increasing Germany's influence over the gas market in the EU (especially with the demand for transferring control of Nord Stream 2 assets to the German subsidiary). The Russian goal is to be a stable long term gas supplier to the EU market both for increasing market share and influence in that market, but of course the US and its ideological lackeys treat that as a hostile act, hence all the political skullduggery.
