Not just the USD. You also have the US monopoly on the technological frontier (integrated circuits, aerospace, industrial automation, chemicals, biotechnology, computing, communications, etc), the US military as well, US coercion through threatening trade & investment as well as getting allies to do the same
I don't think the US has any monoploy in any of the fields you mentioned except for integrated circuits. Maybe they are in you fantasy. They are most successful is pushing their Allie/Vassels around. I do agree with you on one part, they are best at coercion through war and destruction. They've done so much of it.

But I will have to say, they are unmatched in forefront of hypocrisy. so well versed and ingrained with hypocrisy that's it certainly seems they have a monopoly on it.

The US *always* gets what it wants.
- TSMC data transfers
- Samsung data transfers
- Nord Stream 2 sasbotaged
- France to back down on AUKUS
Only in your dreams

The US wants to destroy China, instead what it is getting is only destruction for itself.
A day after the meeting and the US is already begging for China to help it with decreasing oil prices lol

Lol it's all happening
Its all connected isn't it?..

The moment Biden sent the signal about easing on Taiwan, the rest of the "free world" very conveniently changed their stance...

That's the biggest proof of how these "countries" are proper vassals/protectorates

As the bro @ansy1968 notes, China realised that it is better to talk with the "free world's" boss, the US, than wasting its time with a bunch of puppet countries

I don't think Biden told them to pump the brakes, rather they're reading the room. You see Xi say to Biden "you're my old friend but I must warn you, people who play with fire get burnt" and the US couldn't say anything in response so they're all thinking "damn I better keep a low profile least I become the next Lithuania". Once one of them does it it's like when you're lined up in a line and someone is asking for volunteers, and you see some people start to take a step backwards. You better do the same too and quick if you don't want to stand out.

We should hold on and see what Morrison does, that would be telling.
