Wokism is a blight on humanity and in the event that Russia and China (inevitable given current decline in the west) ends up targeting these freaks and their idiot leaders in the government of the Quad or 5eyes or whatever, I will feel nothing for them because they have turned their backs on common sense and thus they deserve to suffer for doing so"WOKISM" Is going to be the death knell for these western elites and the people that have swallowed such tripe.
True, in the end everyone is in it for themselves and given how Germany is using the Baltic states as cannon fodder right now and the whole Brexit deal, it is evidence to suggest that the EU isn't quite as united as they like to say they are. In the end of the day, these EU countries are tied to the USA a fair deal but push comes to shove, should the USA be weakened enough, I wouldn't be surprised if the EU ends up throwing the USA under the bus to some extent to get ahead and hence have a bit more freedom to do what they want. At its core, the EU (or at least the biggest players) would prefer to do business with China and Russia unimpeded but the over grip of the USA is very strong so right now we have a waiting game to see if such things like a Tsunami, dollar collapse or societal collapse takes hold. I can guarantee in such an event that most nations would be loathed to send much of their resources to helping to the USA to stabilize itself when they can benefit greatly from having more freedom to chart their own course on their terms with the USA out of the picture, hence why most of those nations at the Glasgow summit don't seem to be very motivated since the main two player aren't their and Biden has no real message to give (heck the fact he went to sleep seems to have become the main topic instead of whatever message they could've had) and thus given the current situation, it is a waiting game for the world so see who is going to croak first with these pointless bickering going on being a side job to the main event.I also think that as long as everyone profits (it could be in the ways of money or power) from the overall picture there's absolutely no reason to start a major conflict in Europe (aside from the grey zone between Russia and NATO countries).
When it comes to natural resources everyone is currently diversifying - Russia and Germany finalize Nord Stream pipe (Russia gets a lot of leeway in the grey zone as it bypasses the grey zone and conflicts there won't harm Russia's income in case of any armed conflict there) and there's a second major player now when it comes to oil and gas - Norway. Many countries try to get their share of Norwegian natural resources.
Russia and Norway are a perfect example of how one should or shouldn't invest 'oil money' - the first gets a small number of people absurdly rich while the latter creates a rich welfare country for it's citizens.
The resources dictate main picture of politics within EU now - Germany wants to push as hard as possible with green energy (German companies will get the biggest share of the profit) while France for example pushes strongly for the 'golden age of nuclear power' (as they can profit a lot by exporting technologies abroad). It seems to be major background for the coming years for Europe.
