Biden's 300 million USD a year at work right in front of your eyes.
Well, according to the Twitter's handler the fella who has written the article linked on his Twitter has been a long time Russia analyst and has a deep connection with the Russian government. Having established his bonafides I thought it would be worth examining the meat and potatoes of the article to understand what's caused him to arrive at an alarming conclusion and what does his opinion means for the future of Sino-Russia alliance if such mindset gains a bigger traction in Russia in the coming years. I figured it's worth discussing about since any negative change in the relationship is going to add another layer of complications for China.

There are always two sides, even within China there are no shortage of people who would trash talk Russia. The fact that such voice exists is not a surprise, it's only if they have the government's ear.

这人是个俄罗斯的亲西方的自由派的学者,他看普京比看中国更不顺眼,他的思路在俄罗斯不是主流,不用理他。
This man is a pro-west liberal intellectual, he dislikes Putin even more than China. His thoughts are not mainstream in Russia so there's no need to pay attention to him.
I don't know if that's true or not, be good if someone familiar with Russian internal politics can shed some light it would be good.

It hasn't even been a decade since they annexed Crimea so it's pretty funny coming from Russia. China will be safe until Putin dies then I believe Russia will lean towards the West.
I don't understand where the so called analyst's accusation of China acting like an expansionist power when Taiwan has always been an integral part of China and her claims has not been to claim a land or lands that does not belong to China. As you rightly pointed out, if this is going to be the Russian attitude in years time then China must be acutely aware of this schizophrenic Russian thinking and has made anticipatory plans to mitigate, manage, and deal with the potential threat if worst comes to worst.

Alright @Temstar I hear what you're saying and be that as it may, it'll be wise for China not to let her guard down with respect to Russia.

It's only one guy's opinion so don't take too much weight into it. Putin will live for at least 15 more years so there's plenty of time to grow for China. I don't see Russia as China's long time friend though.
