Hopefully those people will be ready to see those US soldiers die for their actions. If they think that China doesn’t already know how the USA works (with their substifuge being very well know ) well they have another think coming. Why use this hidden measures when China can work to crash the USA economy by working towards ditching the dollar which will cause wide spread torment in the USA due to how addicted their citizens are to cheap goods that will no longer come in the coming future. Look at the inflation that is going up due to all this money printing, China right now is working to insulate themselves from the fallout by not purchasing any more treasuries and also slowly cutting off any more goods being sent over via this energy crisis to prevent the flow of goods from continuing to flow into the hands of the opposition that doesn’t know when to stop poking China.
Heck, if the USA thinks that China is afraid of them well they will get a nice long look at the consequences of picking a fight with someone that can fight back and now be starting to have every reason in the world to want the USA out of Asia for good. China already is in the process of picking apart the system of with the USA economy system works, I mean the whole evengrade situation and Chinese energy crisis is getting over reported for a reason in the west by so call professionals that appear to be a lot of fake tear pills, it means that while it does cause China grief right now, the potential for the grief it causes the USA later which how the USA desperately needs to borrow money to survive is far greater and it is starting to show with in the increase in overall poverty in the USA. I mean why is Janet Yellen warning the government of the debt ceiling while also trying to visit China, surely the USA economy is robust enough not to have hiccups like this that requires an enemies input to last one day longer right? And the businesses in the USA are lobbying the government to quit this trade war for a reason but the USA government refuse to do this out of pride and the fact that Taiwanese USA trade minister seems to have very little in terms of brains to know how to deal with this kind of crisis of whether the USA is worth more then Taiwan right now, I am sure this isn’t going to eventually bankrupt lots of US companies and greatly increase poverty in the USA and the possibility of a civil war finally going off, I mean any person would know that this is going to be the end result of the USA failing to handle their economy like they should and focus money on external issues that quite frankly hasn’t yield and tangible results, I mean look at Afghanistan, to invade Afghanistan to fight the Taliban to replace the government with the Taliban is just too stupid for words and the whole situation in syria where they cannot replace the leader like they used to do with ease, I hope those nations that allied with the USA knows what they are getting into because one day, they might just experience the 8 army agreement that was done to China to be done back to them and with more humiliating conditions at gun point, just the way the west like to do it

For me it was 2008, CNN and BBC etc. photoshopped Urumqi riot.

Also watch out the South Korean reports related to North Korea, they fabricated the "execution by anti-aircraft artillery", why not meat grinder, dissolved alive by acid? They just watched too many horror movies.
well, I might be late, but I'm getting there. Now I'm even wondering about the "established facts" like Tiananmen and stuff. Am I being too paranoid or there's bottled smoke somewhere?

I don't care much about the Tiananmen issue. Assuming it's exactly what it's portrayed (brutal, bloody...) by the Western media, I'm happy for that. Fortunately, China has a strong and tough leader who knows what to do at the time. China doesn't need a color revolution, China needs stability. Thanks to his decision, China today, the world's second economic superpower, has stealth fighters, 5G, supercomputers ... and has not become a dumping ground like Russia.

Western scenario: Start with some student protests, then violent chaos, looting, arson, finally regime collapse, then foreign intervention. Resources, technology, patents, ... were robbed by the West.

No worries, everyone has been "late" at some point, people learn from experience and build their belief.

About Tiananmen, I had couple of college classmates who where there for a full day until the square being cleared, they have never said anything like the western media said, not even before the moment of "everyone confess everything" that happened days later, meaning they had plenty of time to tell anything to anyone they want.

To be precise, it is "Kishida said that Joe Biden said that article 5 applies to Diaoyu island".

Here is the readout from the whitehouse,

President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. spoke today with Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan to congratulate him on his election. The leaders affirmed the strength of the U.S.-Japan Alliance, which is the cornerstone of peace, security, and stability in the Indo-Pacific and around the world. President Biden noted that he looks forward to strengthening the relationship in the years ahead given the critical role our countries play in advancing our common vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific region, including through the Quad.

In no where was article 5 and Diaoyu island mentioned. That means Joe Biden does not take any position on the matter, no mater how much Kishida wanted. Without making it publicly known to the world, any behind-door promise is just Biden's spittle and Kishida's wet dream.
Here is the official press release from Japanese foreign ministry.

The two leaders also concurred on the importance of further strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance. They shared the view to further strengthen the Alliance’s deterrence and response capability to address the increasingly severe security environment in the region. President Biden reaffirmed the U.S.’s unwavering commitment to the defense of Japan including the application of Article V of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty to the Senkaku Islands.

Since whitehouse hasn't issued statements disavowing Japanese foreign ministry's public characterization of Biden Kishida's telephone call, it can be considered as a tacit agreement. Still this is ultimately a he said she said situation.

Given previous US administrations (Obama and Trump) took similar position on this and the current political climate, I am incline to believe Kishida's words. However, I doubt USA's actual commitment when push comes to shove over Diaoyutai/Senkaku Island.

Problem is that the vast majority of the anglosphere/west are stupid enough to believe this cheap propaganda.

That may no longer be true.

: "A new Gallup poll has revealed that Americans have a consistent lack of trust in media, with more than three-quarters of the public not saying they had much confidence in newspapers or television news." (Emphasis added.)

they probably lump international news and domestic news together in the poll. If the respondent trusts the international news but not the domestic one (or vice versa), they might say they "don't have much confidence", though they actually mean "I don't trust a certain section of the reporting."
