China just needs more socialism. Idk why in China there is still so much libertarian nonsense like ridicoulously low minimum wage for its development level. It made possible above to import Indians for wages Chinese ppl wont work. Much higher minimum wage e.g. at 6000-7000 rmb in t1 cities, 4000-5000 rmb in poorer provinces are imo priority to implement as soon as possible.

I really hope China hasn’t caught the neoliberal disease of mass immigration and offshoring manufacturing for cheap labour. If this is the strategy you will see a very unhappy youth in China where youth unemployment is high and foreigners get hired over them. The anger in the Western populations is because of mass immigration and cheap labour foreigners getting hired over locals. Locals have no jobs which leads to populism in politics.
In the West, you have middle age Indians and their spouses getting jobs where previously those jobs were going to local high school and university students to get work experience.

I saw this video the other day. It might be the first of the dominoes.
If you work with Indians, you will notice that they always commence asking you questions meant to gather intel about who they have to suck up, or replace to get into the hiring positions, and they’ll do this on a level that’s beyond normal office career planning. They’ll enlist their entire caste network and put all that effort into politicking and office politics as opposed to doing the actual work, and that’s assuming they were even hired on the basis of competency as opposed to lying on their resume.

Seems like they follow the three strokes approach to corporate survival.

1) know whose ego you need to stroke.
2) stroke that ego as hard as you possibly can.
3) pray that ego is the only thing that requires stroking.

I mean there could be exceptions to mass migration for example China can open it's borders to any Nepalese or Myanmar (Primarly the northern ethnic groups aka Shan and Kachin but other ethnic groups can do) because they already have freer access to China (Mainly the border areas) than other foreigners. If I recall Nepalese are the only ones who can free enter Tibet at anytime and they often cross the border to shop and there wouldn't be any difference afterall both sides of the border are populated by Sherpas with atleast the Chinese side the Sherpas don't have to risk their lives in Mt Qomolangma for foreigner's glory.
Most likely a combination of naivety mixed in with a bit of white worship.

I’m not surprised at all this was a Shanghai company, probably run by people who look at all the western countries promoting Indian migration and think they must have a good reason.

But probably more importantly, thanks to the GFW, most mainland Chinese are insulated from the reality of Indian state sponsored mass migration. They probably still are thinking it’s like it was 20 years ago when it was only the best and brightest that emigrated based on their own merits and capabilities. They also have no idea about the industrial scale forgery of qualifications that goes on in India. I would bet those Indians looked like they should be Silicon Valley rockstar level capable, but may well be as actually qualified as Apu from the Simpsons.

Chinese investigators should absolutely so through their CV and qualifications with a fine tooth comb. And indeed, I would suggest mandatory competency tests for all Indians coming to China on work Visas to make sure they are actually as qualified as they claim they are. That alone should weed out the worst kind of Indians who would pull shit like this.
Well in Shanghai alot of Shanghainese like to the say the Colonial Days are better because there more foreigners thus is more cosmopolitan than today.

Well, that's what Shanghai is - Infested with too many literal 土殖s and 汉奸s everywhere in the city, who aren't just looking down and despising Chinese people originating from elsewhere in China, but would automatically spread their legs wide open whenever they see foreigners.

That's the Shanghainese's nature - No different from that of the Hong Kongers.

I'd say that it's way long overdue for those two places to be cleansed from the deepest levels and narrowest gaps.

Nope, people in China are fully aware of the outside world.

Funnily enought despite discrimating against the new Shanghainese most of these people aka the Old Shanghainese (Who basically like to act they run the place) don't even actually originate from Shanghai and the "Language/Dialect" basically reflects this. It's basically Suzhounese mixed with Ningbonese with some Cantonese (Cantonese people migrated to Shanghai).

My Shanghainese side of the family are exempt from this because we are one of the very few people who can actualy say they're Shanghai natives.
