Absolutely irrelevant and nothing to do with the fact that HK is factually an integral part of China historically or in the present. Nor does it change the fact that in the period between the Qing Dynasty and the PRC government, HK was leased to the British after the Opium Wars and the unequal treaties that followed.

Oh yes, what is best for humanity is not the best for China, but we don't need it while humanity does.
