The Shah was successful because of oil, Anglo-American support, and an SS like secret police.
The Arab nations aren’t loyal to the Saudis because of any religious affinity, they’re loyal to the Saudis because the Saudis are the Anglo-American’s chosen lackeys and because the Arab consciousness has been corrupted by the USD.
Yes that's also part of the reason, no one's going to listen to Saudia if it was like Yemen or something

But other muslim countries are going to be reluctant in accepting a Shia Iran who is interested in spreading it's form of islam

That's the issue, thier being Shia isn't an issue but they're very aggressive when it comes to spreading thier ideology to other countries

(Just like Saudis aka Ladin, Wahabi which was also foreign to majority of muslim countries but it came under the guise of sunni ideology unlike Iran which spreads fundamentalist ideology through Shiate sect (although it's not as bad as Saudi but they have thier millitias))

I agree with both your point Petro dollars and issues of sunni/Shia overblown but Iranian reputation in middle east/muslim countries is bad which makes me thing it'll be hard for tham to unite Muslim world like Saudi has for decades

I don't know if people/government will be comfortable in accepting thier hegammany especially from a relgious angle (which seems to be thier primary focus)

Maybe not breaking news in that this sort of shit has been going on for decades, but there are a number of notable points about this story.

Firstly, isn’t the judiciary supposed to be independent of the executive branch? Oppst, guess they let that cat out of the bag that it’s all just more BS lies and the Supreme Court can and does seek direction from the White House when hearing cases of any real significance.

Secondly, it’s remarkable have blatantly racist American society is, towards Asian Americans for actively discriminating against them, and against blacks for blatantly saying they too stupid to get into Harvard fairly and need to be given disability like special consideration cause they be black.

But it’s funny who they decide to cut Asians to make room for blacks while Asians in Harvard are still a minority and at no point did they ever consider cutting back on whites to make room.

In a way this is a very neat microcosm for how the racist white American society at large works. The white’s share is guaranteed and the colours need to fight each other for the table scraps they throw the colours out of ‘charity’. That served the dual purpose of allowing the whites to virtue signal and feel good about themselves while also installing the ‘correct’ mentality amongst the coloureds that other colours are the enemy and competition. That sort of mentality might explain the disproportionate percentage of anti-Asian racists attacks carried out by blacks. And before anyone starts, that’s hardly new either. Back during the LA riots, the black mobs went after the Koreans not the white Karens.
Even if they did cut the "white quota", the children of the oligarchy would have no problem attending Ivy League schools.

Not long ago they had an admissions scandal where the children of the elite were buying places through fraudulent qualifications, applications. Tip of the iceberg.

I have no doubt the same happens in the UK.

The U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council will have three overarching goals: establish new global trade standards for emerging technology, promote democratic values online and find ways for the United States and the EU to collaborate on cutting-edge research and development.
Seems clear to me what they want to do. They will (eventually) create their own economic sphere where they compete with each other (and other allies) but China would be excluded (forcing Western standards, "forced labour", "not a democracy" etc)

Wasnt expecting that to start happening so sooon. Good job to Biden for having such a great plan

Lets see how they implement it though

That is if the US doesn't backstab the EU as they've already done and maybe more like how they did Japan.

I agree but the plan is worthless if they fail to outcompete China. Rejecting globalization induces inefficiency. For example, the UK's transition to 5g will be slower and more expensive because of their ban on Huawei. And this will cause the UK to lose competitiveness in industries that will utilize 5g for a few years. The same goes for the standards too. The innovator defines the standards. Also, that promoting democratic values online part sounds like censorship.

True but having so many different innovative countries inside and with such a gigantic market to sell, I dont think they will have too much problems with inefficincies due to reduced competition

The innovator defines the standards
If China cant sufficiently access these markets because it is blocked from doing so then it will naturally wont be able to export its own standards there.

Yep

For example, the UK's transition to 5g will be slower and more expensive because of their ban on Huawei. And this will cause the UK to lose competitiveness in industries that will utilize 5g for a few years.
For this exanple specifically, they may be late but if they can effectively control how much China can export there then they can accept this delay which IMO they can close the gap due to how many different innovative western companies would be able to freely compete between them without worrying about China

Anyway, this scenario is obviously far far in the future and it would be extremely difficult to implement in reality. China has plenty of time and resources to device it's own strategy. Still early days

No major eu countries can survive without trade with China, eu is fractured as it is, this plan will only hasten eu demise
What China shouls do is to focus less on europe and focus more on south east asian countries, this area is where the majority of world economic growth coming from
