Funny enough, the USA really thought they could get away with its actions unscathed. Seriously one of the reasons this keeps happening is that the never seem to have the culprits for such stupid actions executed for such treason, instead they always seem to be promoted some how. I don’t think there will be any kind of a future that would allow for the USA to actually accomplish anything with regards to Taiwan ever because none of its capabilities can even think of striking China in any way that won’t be handled with ease give Chinas radar and surveillance systems and any missile systems Iran has, Chinas is guaranteed to be a whole few tiers above. Seriously they should give up on south east Asia completely like they may have to do the same in regards to the Middle East given its current loses
It's also that in order to derisk from the outside world (especially the USA) and build up domestic industries, a weak currency helps make domestic industries competitive, at least in the beginning.

US does not have that high speed kill chain over vast distances nor it has that deep penetrating ultra low altitude attack choppers with long range weopons. only Israel invested in high altitude AWACS and ALBMs but they dont have persistence over battlefield.

The irony is the US killed-off probably the soft-liners in Iran. That’s why now Iran is more formidable than last year’s US-Israel strike because the softies are now dead. I can see the same mistake for the Chinese. The Chinese that believe in saying nothing… doing nothing when wronged aren’t believing it because it’s a strategy. It’s because they think it will result in the least amount of anger from the enemy. Even when the West isn’t wronging the Chinese and they’re saying nothing and doing nothing when the West is doing wrong, that only says to the West they aren’t going suffer consequences and that only encourages them to do it more than ever. Just like how Trump thought Iran was going to be as easy as Venezuela. It flies against the logic of those Chinese who think it’s some proven philosophy that works.
I hope that China has a working hypersonic glide vehicle that can release a payload. We haven’t heard anything more about it in years. It could be like how they said China’s ASBM wouldn’t work and now all of the sudden it’s considered a legitimate threat. It’s only fair to be able to drop “conventional” ordinance on the enemies’ homelands since they do it all the time. Just look at Americans getting off on Tehran’s skies blackened with smoke from oil refinery fires. China doesn’t have to go after military or strategic targets. How about seeing national forests burning? That alone can be billions in costs for each. Yeah, I know that would be against international law but look how the US and Israel can commit genocide in Gaza without “intent”.

In the post war environment if Iran survives, you could make a pretty good argument that a junta version of Iran is actually a better arrangement than theocracy.
Junta tend to have corruption problems yes but as long as it doesn't get too out of hand it seems to be a stable form of government. Seen as the generals in charge tend to see the country as their personal property they tend to actually give a shit about what's happening to the country.
